I think he means that you should breed your Staryu and then evolve the baby as soon as it hatches!

Ok. I caught mine at Lvl 30 i gonna breed for a Timid one with Natural cure.

BTW you should only evolve it when it learned recover

I got a timid one with natural cure.

but i cant remember the routes for blue shards.

There's no good level to evolve a Staryu. Starmie's standard moveset mostly consists of TM moves, anyway.

- Ice beam
- Recover



It does have other options, but they don't do so well.

Modest is the only usable nature in-game.
Otherwise it is even more shite.
