Best Misty Pokemon

Which pokemon in Misty's team is your favorite?

I think the best Misty Pokemon is Gyarados.

Psyduck was the only really memorable and funny one. Almost everyone loves Psyduck, and for good reason, it was such a great Pokemon back in the early days.

The rest of Misty's Pokemon are honestly quite boring. Notice how most of them have no personality to speak of? Politoed acts like an idiot, Azurill is a cute baby, Corsola can battle...eh...but personality wise they're all lacking.

Gyrados is great too, because well, its powerful. Other than that Misty's team is quite dull. Filled with water types and most of them don't even stand out. Thank god for Psyduck.

Psyduck aside, I was always quite partial to Poliwhirl before it turned into the filthy filthy Politoed, mostly because it's one of my favorite Pokemon.

Psyduck was comical at first but it got stale (along with Misty) in johto. I also think Poliwrath would've been better but I still like Politoed and Gyarados because they can actually battle.

I always thought Staryu was pretty kickass too. It may have been devoid of any sort of personallity, and it had very little going for it, but hot damn. There was just SOMETHING about that inanimate object masquerading as living creature that was appealing.

Psyduck was ok, until our good buddy Wobbuffet came along and snatched away it's crown of being the funniest pokémon on the show.
And I've seen Gyarados so much that it just doesn't spark my interest anymore. I couldn't give two burlap sacks filled with turnips that it's a good battler, it's still boring.
The others I couldn't give a damn about.

Psyduck was the funny one in the Kanto, but the second Wobbuffet came along...

I'd say Poliwhirl because it's my second favorite Water Pokemon (My love for the Coelacanth gets in the way of Poliwhirl.) But it still is one of my favorites, and I wish Misty's would have evolved into a Poliwrath.

I like Azurill. I know it is a baby pokemon and doesn't look strong, but in two episodes, I'm impressed to see it knows how to battle. Plus, if Misty is seen with Ash in his travels again (for a whole season or 1 or 2 episodes), I could see Azurill use Iron Tail or Surf....two strong attacks. As for Misty's other pokemon, I like Gyarados and Staryu too. They can battle. Corsola just needs to be more personality superior and Psyduck needs to evolve into a Brock-like Golduck (im my opinion that is). Politoad...meh and Goldeen and Luvdisc-they're Cerulean-show pokemon.

Togetic, that pkmn is remembered as extra luggage since mid-late Kanto, that pkmn was in mostly every episode up until the Mirage Kingdom ones...

Starmie got thrashed by Pidgeotto in episode seven and didn't get a decent battle since.

Misty's Staryu seemed to be a much better battler than her Starmie.

I'm a little sad that Starmie wasn't in the thread, but it would be my fav. too bad it never got a decent chance to show it's potential. Could it have killed them to give it a psychic attack or awknowledge it as a psychic type? Oh well, that's my little rant.

Togepi/Togetic was my favorite Pokemon on Misty's Team! I like how it helped the other Togepi in the Mirage Kingdom episodes!

I like Staryu the best. I like Starmie equally (I have a thing for the starfish) but it's not on the poll.
I like Psyduck, Horsea and Goldeen a little too. From greatest to least btw.
I sooooooo want Misty to catch a Buoysel though! They'd be the cutest together!
