Not considering EV's what do you people think is the best place to train a certain type of pokemon at a certain level range?
For example, I would recommend a Water-type pokemon of levels 27<x<33 be trained at Magma hideout. Genocide the Torkaols and Gravelers there.
Or one can train a Dark-type pokemon of levels 35-45 at the sky pillar in Emerald.

This is the thread I have been looking for! I really don't give a **** about IV's and EV's. Magma hideout is also an awesome place to train ground types. The level range 25 to 35.

Trained her with Aroma Lady Rose, who is now my training ho. One Psychic/Ice Beam/Flamethrower/Wing Attack each will kill her team. I prett much train everything in the area around Mauville, as the Pokemon are perfect level.

Back I guess??
in the level 25~37 I train where are you speaking, all the trainers around mauville they are triatlete dylan, triatlete maria, pkmn breeder lydia, pkmn breeder isaac, sr.andjr. anna&meg, aroma lady rose, and guitarrist (?) they have very good pokemon to train, when I reach the 37 or I move to victory road or elite 4 (depending on the pokemon) and train it up to 50.
then I battle with all the gym leaders holding exp.share and after that I transfer it to pokemon colosseum. that´s how I train my pokés. (I hope it´s understandable)

AH, I make that for any pokemon type, except grass in the aroma lady and flying in the guitarrist
(level 25 is normally the level that I finish ev training)

Er, you can't find wild wailords. But wailmers do fine. Electric types, levels 29-39, fish at pacifidlog and hope for sharpedos. They give about 750-850 exp.

[EDIT] And BTW, You can train Psychis anywhere there are poison type pokemon. There aren't many places to train psychic types....

I've caught a wild Wailord while surfing. They're very very rare though. Mossdeep is a great place to train grass and electric types, just use Super Rod and Sharpedos are plentiful.

In Emerald, the routes between Fortree and Lilycove are excellent for training higher level Fighting types because of the wild Absol, Poochyena, and Mightyena (the 'yenas can be a pain because of Roas though, but atleast that makes them slower and gives you a chance to finish them off quickly). Fighting types are pretty easy to train in the advance games because of all the normal types running around.

Also, Mt. Pyre is excellent for training Dark types and Pokemon with dark moves (like Trapinch).

The place that i would train my pokemon is the pokemon Center ( i would train Ice pokemon there)

How do you train your pokemon at "the pokemon center"?? Furthermore, how do you "train Ice pokemon there"??? I don't understand, Lugia26. :x

EDIT: BTW, you can eternally train with the TV reporters (forgot their names) so long as you can keep up. They always reappear from the first spot below the sandstorm but their levels will keep getting higher and higher. This works on Ruby, Sapphire AND Emerald.

i'll tell about the reporters.
okay, they are "Gabby and Ty". you battle them double battle style. you first see them after you smash the rocks north of mauville and head up a bit. at first they will have a whismur and a magnemite. when you beat them they move east of mauville. just surf east and you'll find them. then after you beat them there, they move east of fortree. each time, their team levels up till you have a lv. 39 exploud and magneton. the best thing is, they battle you infinitely. so, you can train your pokemon really fast with them. here is a strategy:

have one pokemon with a decent special attack and surf. it should be holding the amulet coin. the pokemon you want to train should have the exp. share. they should be in the first two slots of your party. battle them. if all goes well, the poke with surf should KO them in the first turn before they attack. the poke in training will get 3/4 of the exp. points. like i said earlier, you can do this infinitely. you'll get fast training and big bucks from the amulet coin. hope this helps :).

Water/Grass/Ground/Fighting/Ice types rape everything in the Magma Hideout.

But for good EXP in general, once your pogeys get to higher levels, keep rebattling the two Breeders (Lydia and Isaac) for loads of EXP. They're right by the Daycare just in case somebody didn't know. With six each, the Breeders give lots of training. Plus, the two Triathaletes (sp?) rebattle there, and so do Aroma Lady Rose and the Guitarist just on the other side of Mauville.

What about the Aqua hideout? I totally forgot what lived there... anyways, any suggestion to training psychic-type pokemon? Victory road, perhaps, but what about low-level psychic pokemon?

XRay

---what I'm getting
IMO the aqua hideout(golbat) is a perfect place to train psychic types, and for low levels you could go to the altering cave(zubat only), and for very low levels I would go the granite cave in dewford(zubat, makuhita). As for the Victory road, the answer is NO,NO,NO AND NO AGAIN!!!Sure the hariyama can be fainted easily, even the golbats are ok, but there are way too many arons ans lairons. It's fine though if you're ready for some major switching out.

the only wild pokemon in the aqua hideout are the electrode, and they selfdestruct most of the time. if you want to train a ground type, go to new mauville.

It came to a slight misunderstanding. I thought about aqua's hideout being the underwater cave. I didn't remember the hideout on lilycove's coast. Sorry!

In terms of training psychics, I find Fiery path to be pretty good for lower level ones, and jagged pass has machops. Aditionally, the cave by the elite 4 (forget its name) has makuhitas, hariyamas, zubats, and golbats, making it a very good training spot.

Anyone know the best place to train a lv. 26 Trapinch?

Go to Mt. Pyre. Trapinch can take the Duskulls, Shuppets, Vulpix's and Chimechos. Once it evolves into VIbrava go fishing around Paciflodge town.

after EV training, and getting the Effort ribbon, I like to go on a trainer's eye rampage, and battle every trainer who's wants to battle (which is pretty much anytime I enter any area)

Wild pokemon in Victory Road and Sky Pillar are good if your guys are strong enough

but the ulimate place to for EXP training would be in Colosseum's Mt. Battle, best place to train any fully EV trained pokemon in the advanced generation games.
