hmmmm... go for level 65 or higher. his pokemon are around level 60, so it wouldn't hurt to have them at 70. just make sure to exploit type weaknesses and you'll be fine.

So the qiickest way to level up is MT battle?

Mt. Battle is a great choice for leveling up, and if there is one Pokémon in particular that you want to level up, give it the Exp. Share to hold, that way, it will get a greater portion of the experience points.

I seem to remember my pokemon being around level 53-56 or so, but I could be wrong. Anything below 53 will get blown away by his pokemon, no doubt, though. And Mt. Battle is quite an effective place to train at, especiall since your pokemon are healed between every battle.

I managed to beat him with two level 100's (My Espeon and Umbreon) and had a few poitions with me. I never trained any other Pokemon though. lol

You can Train to Level 55 or more, or you can go with the "other" way.

Just use the Skarmory you Snag from Gonzap. Plain and simple. And have loads of Items to heal and revive. Status such as Paralysis and Sleep help a lot too. Skarmory will outstall all of Evice's Pokémon just by standing there. Just watch out of Slowking and Tyranitar. The rest can't do jack squat to it. Let another Pokémon defeat Evice's Team slowly, while Skarmory just stands there, taking hits like nothing. Even below Level 50, you'll make short work of Evice this way. :D

Or you could train...

He didn't beat Evice yet, so he can't go to the Deep Coloseum.

I have defeated Evice now and comepleted everything else BUT the purifying,so would MT battle be good for purifying lvl 30-50?

Yes, Mt. Battle would work good for purifying. You can also leave another Pokémon at the Daycare to be purified while you are battling. If you have done everything that there is to do, then you may as well sell any unwanted items that you don't need, and don't want to trade with your GBA Pokémon games, and spend your money on the Scents at the Agate Village PokéMart, so that you can work on purifying a little bit quicker if you want.

I KOed His Slowking and Slaking with my Lv.44 Forretress o_O;
Explosion killed em easily. Slowking was already hurt and Slaking got a Critical Hit from it :D

Then again, I also had a Lv70 Espeon and a Level 60 Meganium and a Level 56 Magcargo and a Lv.55 Umbreon and... Something else... I forgot what it was >_>; I think it was Suicune...

Come on guys, he wasn't THAT hard. Seriously. You people make it sound like he's super 00ber or something. I beat him on my first try, and I was personally dissapointed that he wasn't as strong as people said he is :/

But I beat it ages ago... It's now nothing more than a stadium for all the battles I have with other people.
