Best Pokemon Movie

Also, even though it's not technically a movie but a special, Mewtwo Returns.

Spell Of The Unown. It could have been better, but they all could have and at least this one had unique, albeit strange, storyline

Jirachi - Wish Maker. I loved that movie and the legend that happened to be behind Jirachi. I also loved it that Max was kind of the star of the movie along with Jirachi, and not Ash for the upteenth time >>; That and the fact the 'bad guy' really wasn't too bad. He understood that what he wanted to achieve wasn't nearly as important as the person he loved. ^^ A great movie indeed. :3

this was a very hard choice....I adored ( and still do) Mewtwo strikes back...and the power of the one, but the power of the one got me really into it...the whole quest, and me who used to love the "number" birds, 'twas a real treat..and considering there was slowking love that guy

Why on earth is 'Mewtwo Returns' part of this poll? And is there any particular reason for the 8th movie being absent?

My favourite pokémon movie was The Wishing Star of Seven Nights.
I'm a sucker for character driven plots chocked full of emotion is all. And when coupled with a decent amount of action sequences, beautiful animation and interesting pokémon taking the stage throughout the movie? Well, thats what I'd consider to be a winner.

Though Mew & the Hero of the Wave comes in a VERY close second.

Because I wanted to only put ones up that were aired in the US so I didn't want to put a Spoiler on this. Mewtwo Returns is on this because it was a conclusion to the first movie and it it dosen't hurt anything to have up there.;025;

Jirachi WishMaker gets my vote for the best one. I liked that Max was the co-star of the movie along with Ash and it had a great plot altogether.

I say Mew and the Wave Guiding Hero is the best. It wasn't the exact same "power of friendship" plot (well, it kinda was, but they didn't shove it down our throats as much), and Lucario was pretty cool. When I saw it, I was glad the writers finally got back on track with these movies...

I say Jirachi Wish Maker. It was pretty interesting tense as it went on. The ending was really touching. And, when Max was leaving Jirachi that sort of made me cry... ^^;
For the other movies, I liked them too. (for some reason, I keep crying whenever Ash turns into stone in Mewto Strikes back). But, I still like Jirachi Wish Maker the best (for now).

If Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero was on the list, that would be my choice... But since it's not, I vote for Jirachi-Wishmaker(even though the English title sounds a bit... lame). It really had what it takes to be a great Pokémon movie! Great story, character development, Ash didn't take all the credit for himself as he usually does... Butler-san was an awesome antagonist, and Jirachi was so cute! Too bad his Japanese voice actress died not long after the movie premiered... Peace to her soul.

Coming into a close third would be Mewtwo Strikes Back!

Power of One is the best one, and atleast it's not childish... and more serious...

However, I don't like Destiny Deoxys, it was too childish at the end. =(

you bas****! How dare you leave "Mew and the Wave-Guiding Hero - Lucario" off the poll. Anyway, that'd have to be my favorite. Lucario and Arlon were great characters, and it was nice that Satoshi's Pokemon and Rocket Dan got to have more of a role for once.

The first movie was my favorite. It's a classic, and the Mew vs. Mewtwo battle was really intense IMO. Haven't seen the Mew and Lucario movie, so I can't really base that in my decision.

Hands down, Jirachi Wish Maker. It had a great storyline and Butler was truly an awesome character. The Power of One comes a close second.

To me the best Movie is Destiny Deoxys because it had the best efects, character development, Pokemon, etc.

It has to be the Power of One! Tat movie blew me away! My other fav is the 6th 5th + 4th some I haven't seen so...
