Best pokemon to teach fly to in game (platinum)

Im wanting to play through platinum again but one thing that really annoys me about the game is lack of pokemon that can learn fly and are half decent. Im sick of using Staraptor, thats rather boring now. Honchkrow has good attack but its movepool is limited. Both superpower and heatwave can be learnt to late in the game. I could teach fly to Giratina but that seems a waste on an awesome legendary. So who else could i use? Most of the other pokemon that learn fly are best used as a special sweeper. Thanks for any opinions. Oh im not trading over pokemon from other games and i do want an in game fly user.

thats a good question. you could try using Swablu/Alteria, chatot, hoothoot, wingull, tropius, should be able to learn Fly based on what I've seen on the Sinnoh dex

It's your choice, but I recommend Togekiss if you are focused on SP. Atk. You won't regret using that thing.

Go with Staraptor or Togekiss. Both are easy to get and are good pokemon nonetheless.

Tropius, hands-down. Give it Fly, Defog, Cut and Strength, then have a water-type that can learn Rock Smash, Surf, Waterfall and Rock Climb. All the HMs you ever need can go on two Pokémon, leaving four slots open for whatever you like and no worries as far as roadblocks, ever.

I'd merely say anything that can learn it, and if it's not working out, there's a move deleter. Maybe Tropius as an HM slave, though.

Did you not read the first post? No more staraptor!

Anyways, you should get swablu and level it up to altaria since it has a decent attack stat. Swablu can be found on that route where defog is needed. ( I forgot what that route is called)

Depends on you, but go with Honchkrow or Altaria. But if not, go ahead and use an HM slave for that, I did that often.
