Best pokemon to use in the battle pyramid...

I think the best pokemon are:
Water Pokémon E.G. Kingdra
Grass Pokémon E.G. Vileplume
Fire Pokémon E.G. Houndoom

I think its easy with these types of pokemon!
But u can choose watever u want!

Swampert at a high level is pretty good against those darn wild electibuzzes.

Note: Dont use pokemon with the Run Away ability, because you wont be able to flee from some pokemon there(though with Run Away you should be able to run from every pokemon).

Choose a pokemon with high speed as your first pokemon. E.g. Jolteon, Sceptile, Aerodactyl.
Pokemon with moves that can cure the team from status problems would be great.

Yes, a fast pokemon is useful. I'd suggest tanks to endure those annoying random attacks, such as Metagross, Milotic and Latias, and then someone that is useful to attack and rid the team of status problems. Altaria might be OK here.

Beware of Brandon's Registeel. Regice was easy to beat with my Metagross, but Regirock used explosion on my Latios. However, Registeel uses Toxic, then Iron Defense all the time. It also has Leftovers on it. For steel types and others, it then uses Earthquake. My team was Latios, Metagross, and Latias. It wasn't the best team, but I still won. Barely.

Actually, all you need are good Pokemon with SPEED as their highest stat. EV-Train them, and the Pyramid should be a piece of cake. This formula works all the time.

Well on the first Pyramid round, I use Swampert, so all of those paralyzes won't work. On second round, you can use poison or steel pokemon,such as Metagross. On third round, Blaziken helps a lot, so statuses aren't that annoying for me... You can use high speed pokemon also,EV train them.

Well, just thinking about gives me ideas:
1) Something with Aromatherapy (Bellossom etc); cure Paralysis
2) Pickup. Phanpy/Donphan works well here; it immune to Electric and has Pickup!
3) Something with good defences and good HP, resistant to Electric. (I'm not good with this, so, ask someone else!)

Pokémon 1 should be fast and with Natural Cure, and you should take Softboiled or Milk Drink with you.
