Best Regional ______?

Out of all the Regional Staples, (Bird, Rodent, and Bug), which were your favorites?

Here's a refresher...

Kanto:
Pidgey/Spearow
Rattata
Caterpie/Weedle

Johto:
Pidgey/Spearow/Hoot-Hoot
Rattata/Sentret
Caterpie/Weedle/Spinarak

Hoenn:
Taillow/Wingull
Zigzagoon/Poochyena
Wurmple

Sinnoh:
Starly

Unova
Pidove
Patrat/Lillipup/Purloin
Sewaddle/Venipede


Personally, I loved Johto's line-up. And after looking at the list, surprisingly I'm most pleased with Unova's. A region I wasn't too fond of actually.

I'm not sure if I missed any other regionals that would fit in here.

Bird would be Starly, Bug would be Sewaddle, Rodent would be Rattata.

 

[Agonist]

Bird would be tied between Taillow and Starly.
Mammal would either Zigzagoon or Rattata
Bug would be Spinarak.

In my opinion:
Bird would be Starly/Staravia/Staraptor. It's not even really a competition for me - it's just that much better than any of the others. The only one that even compares is Rufflet/Braviary in Unova, which doesn't show up until near the end.
Rodent would be Zigzagoon/Linoone. Not only one of the most useful HM slaves ever, but at least a decent battler. Close second to Bidoof/Bibarel, for the same reasons.
Insect would be Sewaddle/Swadloon/Leavanny. Like the Starly line, it's not even a competition.

What about Natu and Ledyba for Johto?

Anyway, my favourite lineup overall would have to be Hoenn, since I like Taillow, Wingull, Zigzagoon and Poochyena. Second would have to be Unova as I like Lillipup and the bugs are actually somewhat usable.

Individually, bird would be Starly/Staravia/Staraptor, 'rodent' would have to be either Poochyena, Zigzagoon, or Lillipup. Probably Poochyena or Lillipup. And the bug would have to be Sewaddle/Swadloon/Leavanny. Venipede's cool too but I haven't used it yet, whereas I used Leavanny in Black 2 and liked it.

Bird:
Either Staraptor or Unfezant, but I hate them all except Noctowl for being too generic

Rodent:
Watchog (again, a lot of these are really generic)

Bug:
Scolipede

Bird= Unfezant

Rodent= Sentrett

Bug= Beedrill.

My favorite lineup is Hoenn's, but individually:


Bird: Taillow/Wingull (ARGHH I CAN'T DECIDE)
Rodent: Zigzagoon
Bug: Spinarak

Johto and Hoenn's line ups are my favorite. The only reason Kanto didn't make it for me was because Johto was pretty much the same thing, but with some of my favorite pokemon.

Hoothoot because it's the coolest of the birds, Wurmple because of it's split evolutions and Bidoof for its in battle uselessness, more so than the other rodents

Bird would be Spearow, rodent would be Zigzagoon or Raticate, bug is Beedrill or Venipede.

My favourite lineup is Hoenn's! The Pokémon I like most are:
Starly as bird, Sentret as rodent and Wurmple as bug. *-*

for birds it has to be the starly line
for rodents, it is poochena (he was my first shiny XD)
and bug is venepede

Favorite bird: Pidgeot
Favorite rodent: Raticate
Favorite bug: Caterpie line

Bird: Taillow-Swellow (Nice color scheme, both in its normal and shiny forms)
Rodent: Sentret (I'm not really fan of its evolution though)
Bug: Venipede line, especially Scolipede, who is really cool.

I don't consider Poochyena and Purrloin lines as rodents though, they should belong in another category IMO. Anyway, I think Mightyena and Liepard are pretty cool, especially the latter.

You forgot early Electric and Regional Two Staged Fish

For bird I would say Hoothoot. I don't really care for Hoothoot but I love Noctowl. For rodent I would say say Sentret because I love Furret. As for bug...kind of tied. Sewaddle is one of my favorite Pokémon ever, but I prefer Beautifly and Dustox over Leavanny, although I still love Leavanny.

What about Natu and Ledyba for Johto?

I forgot about Ledyba. I'd say Natu is too late in game for it to be considered.

I thought Pidgey was better than Spearow. But only because Spearow evolved once, if it get a second one it'd be far better.
