Some of my favorites...

flying -- togekiss -- adorable, and i love my flinchkiss. First poke I ever EV trained and it's still my favorite.
ground -- dugtrio -- nostalgia? I remember destroying my brother's teams with the rental dugtrio on pokemon stadium. I love how fast it is.
electric -- jolteon -- i have a thing for the eeveelutions, and this was almost always my starter poke on pokemon stadium. So fast!
water -- vaporeon -- nostalgia again. my brother used a lot of rock pokemon...
bug -- shuckle and
grass -- jumpluff -- these two are so cute, and look like they'd be a lot of fun to play with. Makes me want to put together a UU team or two.

I don't think I have any least favorites. The interesting ones are fun, the boring ones escape my attention, the strong ones are fun to beat, and the weak ones are hilarious (especially when they're winning ;019; ).

Bug: Beedrill <3 One of my early favorite Pokemon.
Dark: Honchkrow. How can you NOT love how it looks?
Dragon: Dragonair, I guess. I haven't had a lot of experience with dragons, but I think it's a beautiful Pokemon.
Electric: Electrode. I love that grin on its face.
Fighting: Lucario, because it makes me think of Riley. <3
Fire: Torchic. It's based on a chicken and I love chickens!
Flying: Vespiquen. I love bees.
Ghost: Dusclops. Creepy as hell. I love it!
Grass: Roselia. It reminds me of my favorite Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume character. <3
Ground: Hoppowdon. IT'S A ****ING HIPPOPOTAMUS.
Ice: Snorunt. It's so funny-looking!
Normal: Clefairy, because Metronome is the best move ever.
Poison: Ekans! <3 My current favorite Pokemon!
Psychic: Wobbuffet. Its Japanese name is really clever--it agrees with anything you say!
Rock: Cradily. Another freaky Pokemon.
Steel: Bronzong, because it makes me think of Lucian. <3
Water: Psyduck. It's so cute! But I feel sorry for it because of its headaches.


Least favorites

Bug: Ninjask, I guess. I dont' know--I really don't dislike any of the bug Pokemon!
Dark: Skuntank. And its pre-evolution is so cute, too...
Dragon: Flygon. Something about it just bugs me.
Electric: Plusle. Both it and Minun are mostly useless without the other, but Minun has that "Why are we doing this?" look on its face.
Fighting: Medicham. Arrrgh, Fighting/Psychic is one of the most pain-in-the-*** combos out there.
Fire: Magmortar. Good God, that thing is hideous.
Flying: Swellow. Nothing against it--it's just not that interesting to me.
Ghost: Froslass. Looks like a bad sprite edit.
Grass: Lombre. Looks really crabby. Only I'm allowed to be crabby.
Ground: Cubone. Make some friends already.
Ice: Jynx. It looks the most human, and is therefore the most disturbing.
Normal: Snubbull. Not cute at all. Very obnoxious.
Poison: Seviper. Ekans and Arbok are way cooler.
Psychic: Mr. Mime. See Jynx.
Rock: Probopass. See Magmar.
Steel: Skarmory. I have bitter memories of fighting Winona over and over and over...
Water: Milotic. I don't even think it's that pretty. It looks like a giant slug.
