I'm playing Emerald and I need to know what's the most decent water type to use that's not an uber? Right now I'm training a lotad but I'm not sure I want to continue with it since it has so many weaknesses. Thanks if you can help.

well, ingame azumarril is ok, and its catchable early. theres also gyrados (if you can be bothered to raise magikarp!), tentacruel (old rod), sharpedo, pelliper and swampert (if you chose mudkip). hope it helps, and there all catchable early on

If you search a water Pokemon for the BF, use Starmie or Swampert.

3 is many weakness? Load´s last evolution (ludicolo) is between the hardest grass pokémon to KO ;) So I think you should continue.

Think in the positive side, it´s grass pokémon without fire or ice weakness and a water pokémon woithout electric and grass weakness!

If you still don´t like it, then Azumarill, it learns a lot of HMs.

You could try a Swampert since it is resentant to electric types but 2 times as week to grass. I guss you should continu traing your lotad. Because if you train it well and evolve it to its lost form its pretty good IMO

Erm... EXP share? Train it like you always do, battle against pokémon which have weakness to it´s attacks.

Ah that... I misunderstood you, sorry...

Surf, mega drain, Raindance (level up attack JUST for lotad) and ice beam are good attacks for in-game ludicolo.
if you don´t have patience on rain dance, then you can try dive, since it´s ingame.

A non uber would definitly be a Milotic!!! Great stats and is a great special wall, just ev train in special defence and hp and you have a near uber, IMO.

She´s in game, I don´t think people have patience to find and raise a febass in-game.

Walrein is also a good idea, I used it in my game, BUT we just have to chance to catch Spheals in the end of the game. the same for Starmie.

Well, not Wingull. Pelipper is butt ugly and sucks beyond reason.

Azumarill and Lotad are good choices. Pre-Surf, go with Azumarill.

Oh, and Volt, I had the patience to find a Feebas :D

I've never had any luck finding a feebas. Patience I have. I think my lotad is going to be alright. He's growing on me. Though I might search for one with the rain dish ability instead.
