Better in battle Ludicolo or Shiftry?

I always wondered whos the more usefull in battles of this "duo"(yes i see them as a kind of duo) So dont post who you think is cuter or cooler but who is the most usefull in battles overall!

Of personal preference, I can't tell the difference.

However, I reckon Ludicolo is slightly better in battle. Whilst Shiftry is quite useful, Ludicolo's typing and range of moves gives it that slight edge.

I'm not sure but I'm going to say Ludicolo.

Generally, Ludicolo is better since it gets all sorts of things like Leech Seed, Surf, Giga Drain, Ice Beam, and Thunderpunch (not to mention Swift Swim) and pretty good stats which let it handle many different kinds of foes. However, Fake Out/Explosion Shiftry + Swords Dance/Endure/Salac Berry Groudon in Double Battles is quite sexy.

Ludicolo has better ability and better types. Its hard to find a move thats good against him. I have sapphire but not ruby. I have ludicolo but not shiftry.

It depends on the format. Overall, Ludicolo is better. In a JAA, it depends on which weather maker you use. Ludicolo probably will 2-3HKO Groudon regardless, though with Giga Drain.

Ludicolo is better. Even though I despise it with a passion. Ludicolo could be used as an annoyer or a tank. I prefer annoyer though.
