BF Team > Studying for an exam...

I decided to start working on a team for the BF, although I'm not exactly sure when I'll have free time again thanks to a little thing called college...lol (although being in a class with Masters and PhD students is kinda cool).
Anyway, this is what I'm thinking:


Slaking @ Choice Band
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 252 Att / 252 Speed / 6 HP
-Return
-Earthquake
-Shadow Ball
-Aerial Ace (seeing as it is the hax frontier..)



Gengar @ Shell Bell
Nature: Modest
EVs: 252 SpAtt. / 252 Speed / 6 HP
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Punch
-Fire Punch/Hypnosis/Will-o-wisp
-Destiny Bond

or

Regice @ Shell Bell
Nature: Ideally Bold or Modest
EVs: 200 HP / 110 Def / 200 SpAtt.
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Thunderwave / Toxic
-Rest
(Regice is allowed in the BF isn't it?)



Swampert @ Leftovers
Nature: Brave
EVs: 108 HP / 68 Atk / 140 Def / 56 SAtk / 136 SDef (I pulled these off some old topic, so they should be ok)
-Surf/Curse
-Ice Beam
-Rest
-Earthquake

or

Milotic @ Leftovers
Nature: Bold
EVs: 180 HP / 252 Def. / 78 Sp.Att
-Surf
-Ice Beam
-Rest
-Sleep Talk

or

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Nature: Careful
EVs: 128 HP / 176 Atk / 136 Def / 68 SDef (again, from some old topic)
-Curse
-Return
-Earthquake
-Rest


I'm leaning towards one of these teams:
Slaking / Regice / Swampert
Slaking / Gengar / Regice
Slaking / Gengar / Snorlax

I have a ReSTalking Milotic, so I could use that since it just doesn't die. However, I've heard Swampert is quite nice in the BF, and Curselax is..well...Curselax....haha. Feel free to suggest other pokemon though. Also, I don't have Regice in Emerald yet so, unless I'm mistaken, I can soft reset for a good natured one (My Regice in Sapphire is Jolly.... -_- )

What year are you in, Pika Egg?

Slaking / Gengar / Regice seems best. It gives you the usual Physical sweeper/Special Sweeper/Wall along with a Normal/Fighting Resist. Reversal Medicham may be a problem though (if there are any).

I would use that and if you went for a SubPuncher Regice would be better then Gengar.Over all nice team.

Lol wtf Kingdra.

That Gengar is Modest, meaning it’s a special sweeper, not a mixed sweeper.

Return > Hyper Beam in the Battle Frontier. You don’t want to face a Fighting type during the turn you recharge (because you can’t switch out after a Hyper Beam).

Regice can’t even learn Focus Punch.

Gengar can SubPunch it's just no the best at it.

I'm a 3rd year, but seeing as I could, in theory, graduate after next semester, this is kinda like my senior year as well (I'm postponing graduation by a year since that'll save me some money on grad school hehe).

Back on topic: I was considering SubPunch on Gengar but decided it'd be better as a special sweeper. As for the 3rd move, should I go with Fire Punch for a bit more versatility, or one of the status moves? As for Regice...yes it can learn FP, but why? If I wanted to use its sad 50 base Attack, I'd go for Explosion haha.

I guess so BoltBeam is better on Regice anyway.
