BF Team to the Extreme

Freakshow

Jibaku
I used this for a while, but it needs a rate
Battle Frontier Team, obviously.

Latios @ Shell Bell
Trait: Levitate
Stats: 272/209/196/285/387/236
EVs: 6/0/0/252/252/0
Quiet :( Nature (+SAtk, -Spd)
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- Recover
Obviously can't change the nature unless I get a good one in the JAA. Psychic is for Heracross who can rip my team. The HP is terrible, obviously, but he gets quite a health back with Shell Bell. I don't have a Soul Dew

Metagross @ Choice Band
Trait: Clear Body
Stats: 312/403/310/180/190/211
EVs: 76/252/92/44/0/46
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Explosion
- Earthquake
- Meteor Mash
- Rock Slide
My normal/flying/rock resist. CB is there to let it OHKO other Metagrosses in the BF.

Snorlax @ Leftovers
Trait: Thick Fat
Stats: 502/278/176/82/140/315
EVs: Forgotten.
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Curse
- Return
- Shadow Ball
- Rest

r/h + criticize away

I like it. It seems pretty standard to me. Though you might want to put a tank or something close to it on your team.

lax needs careful nature. and what order do you put stats in, HP/Atk/Def/SAtk/SDef/Spd?

HP/Atk/Def/Spd/SA/SD

I don't really think it needs a Careful Nature considering it has 315 Special Defense

Oops. I wasn't looking at the stats. Yeah snorlax is good as a tank. Though I think Whitewizard is right. He might do well with a careful nature.

DC is only SE on dragons, and IB is 4x effective on most of those, and psychic does more to anything neutral to both. i prefer bolt/beam/CM/recover, personally.

and psychic does more than DC, so by your logic, what's the use in using dragon claw?

use moves for type coverage. dragon is neutral to everything except dragon and steel. ice does more damage to most dragons, because they're also either flying or ground-type, and it's super-effective on far more pokes. and psychic does more to steel-types.

the only thing that dragon claw does better than either psychic or ice beam is hit darks/psychics who aren't weak to ice beam, and kingdra.

Arriving glacially.
So, which is better in-game? Boltbeam, or dual STAB? I always made mine with T-Bolt, Calm Mind, Pychic and Dragon Claw... never bothered with Recover.

I'd just go with Ice Beam, since I'll be happy enough to OHKO stuff like Jumpluff. Also, Ice Beam hits Skarmory harder than Dragon Claw, which my team has would probably have problems with if I use DC. Latios maybe able to outstall Skarmory, but the AI haxes so much that outstalling Skarm's Drill Pecks/Steel Wings is practically useless.
Recover deals with stuff like Crunchless Raikou trying to Calm Mind up with me and then Thunderbolt me to shreds. And its easier for Latios to CM up in its face than Lax trying to Curse

Good team, quaza-a.

I don't see anything wrong with it.

If that were my team and I could change the spreads, I would tweak it a little though.
