In my game,the internal is dry meaning that the clock does not move automatically.

Did you not set the clock? I never heard of the clock not moving.

His internal battery is dead, which stops the clock and thus all the random events (and sucks). In that case, the best secret base is probably above the waterfall west of Fortree City. One of them has a hole and one doesn't.
