off topic: Vycksta, what would you do if some one started building an army of Blazikens armed with shield so that the waterbombs all off your sneasel's don't work?
The only thing I can do... bomb them properly. Just have to make sure that I don't get arrested or something. ;D

On topic, still sticking by what I said in my post.

klonoa

Galaxy Idol
I always picture saffron as being a huge place with silph co etc it would be massive!

K-os

Bullet Punch
Slateport seems the biggest of Hoenn to me. Do all the regions have capitals?

I suppose, though I always felt that Sootopolis took the longest to get around :p
One of the reasons I like the Hoenn region is because I think the towns and cities are very well-balanced, unlike Johto where everything is stuffed into Goldenrod and you have places like Mahogany Town that don't really have anything.

What the ***?? Johto is MUCH more well-balanced than Hoenn >.> Let's compare:
Useful Johto cities:
Newbark: You change the clock according to Daylight-savig time. Also, after leaving it, you come back to get the Everstone and the Marter Ball from Prof. Elm.
Azalea: Kurt makes Apricorn Balls
Goldenrod: No need to explain.
Ecruteak: You come back TONS of times because of the legendaries adn the towers.
Olivine: Access to S.S. Aqua
Cianwood: The photograph takes photos of your Pokémon. Also in Crystal, you can come here to know where you got your Pokémon from.
Blackthorn: Move Deleter, also Crystal has the Dragon's Den where you can get a special Dratini.

Cities that become useless after you leave them:
Cherrygrove, Violet and Mahogany.

Useful Hoenn cities:
Slateport: Because of the Energy Guru, the Name Rater and the S.S. Tidal.
Mauville: Casino
Fallarbor: Move Relearner
Lilycove: No need for explanations, either
Pacifidlog: TMs 21 and 27

Cities that become useless after you leave them:
Littleroot, Oldale, Rustbooro, Dewford, Fortree, Moosdeep, and Sootopolis.

Verdanturf is disputable.

Requiem's Eclipse

Hopelessly Hopeful
Kanto=Saffron
Johto=Goldenrod
Hoenn=Slateport/Rustboro/Lilycove

Edit:

Those Cities are valuable

Littleroot: In Emerald, you chose which Lati you catch. Also when you complete the Hoenndex . You chose which johto starter you get.
Rustboro:place, in emerald, were you get to revive all fossils. A girl is sick there which gives you secret wallpapers for your boxes.
Fortree: A invaluable place were you buy furniture for your rsecret base
Mosdeep: We're you can buy multiple Dive Balls whch are found nowhere else

Newbark Town for Johto is just a one timer so dosen't count since emerald dosen't have the time feature.Cianwood's extra features are mainly poinless. Now for all port cities they are mainlt ousted because every game has them.

"Littleroot: In Emerald, you chose which Lati you catch. Also when you complete the Hoenndex . You chose which johto starter you get."
...So what? That doesn't make the town itself useful. The game just asks you about that ONCE after completing the game, and it is in Littleroot just because it is the first city in the game (and after that Littleroot becomes useless). And the Johto starters are just one-timers, and many players will never get them (as many aren't interested in completing the Hoenn dex) so they don't count.

"Rustboro:place, in emerald, were you get to revive all fossils. A girl is sick there which gives you secret wallpapers for your boxes."
...the ***? You only will need it ONCE for the fossil. And how does the wallpapers that make it useful? They are just a little fancy new feature, nothing useful. Not to mention you can have only one wallpaper a the same time.

"Fortree: A invaluable place were you buy furniture for your rsecret base"
You need to come ONLY ONCE if you want the furniture. Also with that logic, EVERY KANTO CITY in GSC would be so useful just because every one of them has a UNIQUE mail to buy.

"Mosdeep: We're you can buy multiple Dive Balls whch are found nowhere else"
Read above.

"Newbark Town for Johto is just a one timer so dosen't count since emerald dosen't have the time feature."
No, it isn't. You come back for:
1.Decorate your room
2.Set the clock
3.Get a Everstone
4.Get a Master Ball
And Emerald HAS a time feature.

"Cianwood's extra features are mainly poinless."
So are the points you stated about Rustboro and Fortree.

"Now for all port cities they are mainlt ousted because every game has them."
The port cities in GSC are very useful because it lets to travel throught regions, whereas in RSE it just takes you to another icy in Hoenn. And even though you can use the train, the access to the S.S. Aqua is useful because it lets you fight trainers infinite times.

people!people! this is not a contest to say which region is the best! and anyway, rustboro is good because you can but timer and repeat balls there...

The Pokémon Weaver
Kanto: Route 7 is the shortest route ever. I consider Saffron and Celadon as one city combined.
Johto: Goldenrod, undisputed. Johto has tons of small cities that pale compared to Goldenrod.
Hoenn: Hoenn is more or less a toss-up between Slateport and Lilycove.
Shin'ou: We know some of the cities. Kotobuki has some things that may deserve revisiting, Yosuga is the first town ever to hold a Gym and Contest Hall, and Tobari has the Dept. Store and Game Corner. Another toss-up here.

Thank you, SPPf! :)
For the record, I'm gonna say Yosuga City for Shinou. It has more of a "metropolis" feel to it than Kotobuki or Tobari, if ya know what I mean.
