Biggest waste of time to train

Which pokemon would you think is the biggest waste of time to train, and why?

I choose wailord since it takes 10240 steps to hatch and 1650000 exp points to raise to level 100. It is common in many fishing areas as a wailmer and not all that great a pokemon to battle with.

I have a lvl 100 Wailord, she wasn't that hard to train. I just used 4-6 rarecandies on her last levels to 100 so I wouldn't have to do more work. XD Well, in my oppinion it was worth it.

Waste of time to train: ... gasp. Luvdisc!!

But guess what? ;) I'm gonna do it anyway.
It'd be amusing to see a single luvdisc beat the whole elite four. Eh... even at lvl 100 that might not be possible. But shh. I don't know that.

Unknown and Ditto. Can we say "No new attacks or notable STAT increases?"

It's not that it takes a long time to train these two, it simply doesn't help their cause.

Shuckle. In fact, doing anything with Suckle is a big waste of time. >_>

ingame, I'm gonna say Umbreon since it can't really use it's full potential. :/ I'm not saying it's a bad Pokemon, but it's really good for competitive play.

andddd.... I would say.... that.... Ledian, Shuckle, Luvdisc, Ditto, Unown, Volbeat, and Illumise aren't too great either. :X Not much you can do with these Pokes imo. <_<;

i will say unown. it only now hidden power. you cant make it learn moves to make it a slave. what is this pokemon for?

I agree, Shuckle is a complete waste of time. Also, some Pokemon like Murkrow and Delibird will be useless because there is a large chance they will evolve soon and if they at L.100 that will defeat the whole point of training them.

master power kirby

<(^.^)> It's Kirby!
I think it's Shedinja because even at lv100 he still
only has one health and even a move from a lv5
if super effective could kill him.

That can lead to corny interpretations. As of now, I bet the Ditto I used in Gold to breed the Shuckle they give you in Cianwood must be twisting in its grave. :p

Now... any early-on Pokémon save Ariados, Mightyena, Furret, Linoone and Beautifly, for they can do a bit of stuff.

Ditto. It's just a pimp. Not a beater... :p

Unown. 'Nuff said. :p

Slugma. I cuaght one on Fire Red once, back when I was a n00b who wanted to catch ,em all, and trained it up with Pokedex purposes. The thing evolves at a way too high level for something so weak, and is very slow to level up.

*finds Suicune*
*it runs*
*trains 4 Wynaut up to Lv 35 and evolve them to get Suicune easier (HP-wise)*
*sees Suicune*
*throws 1 ultra ball*
*Suicune is caught*
*sells the 135 revives I bought*

Basically, I trained 4 wynaut to get Suicune, and it became a waste of time

Feebas. It's too much of a hassle to find and it will never evolve without pokeblocks.

Volteon

Back I guess??
wailord, ditto, unown, shuckle, delibird, luvdisc, sudowoodo, mawile and smeargle are my "favorites" to the list.

I would say that the Pokemon that I wasted training would be my Stantler. It does not have that many good moves, and it's defense is not that good either :( He is currently off my team :D

Chances are I'll get bombarded for saying this, but I don't really mind. Pretty much half the cast of R/S/E was a waste of time to train, in my opinion, I didn't think they were near as creative as the others, and they just -felt- weak. It felt like I was playing a bootleg version of G/S/C, I'm not talking down to those of you that like it, more power to you, but I really didn't get that much enjoyment out of it. It didn't strike me as the direction Pokemon should be going in at all, and it seemed like finding anything worthwhile that -looked- decent was a complete hassle. I'm not saying they have to be beauty queens, but I don't want a dancing fat thing with maraka's or a kangaroo with a sumbrero mushroom head.

Like I said, if you like it, more power to you and I'm glad some people do, I just didn't particularly get the same feel from it as others did apparently. Now aside from that generalization that will probably iritate a few people, and I'm sorry for that, I'll name a few off the top of my head.

Wobuffet - Completely worthless outside of competition, and even there its hated.

Ledyba/Ledian ( Spelling? ) - Down right nasty, bad type, bad stats, bad everything.

Onix - If you can't trade, he's dead worthless. He takes a beating from a few of the most common types in the game and has a bad move pool compared to things like Graveler.

Moltres - Unless you teach it Flamethrower, it will basically be a Fearow with boosted stats. Don't even get me started on how it should've had Flamethrower in the original R/B/Y games, because it'll never stop.

Pikachu/Raichu - I only say this, because any sort of physical damage WRECKS him. I had one on my previous FR game, and it was a steady advantage of the Electric type, however, it made me burn up several more items than another more skilled Electric type would, Ampharos being one. Not to mention, you have to coddle it as a Pikachu for awhile to get most of its respectable moves, unless you really feel like blowing money on TM's for a Pokemon that really isn't that great.

Anyways, thats the short list of Pokemon I have/never will train again/ever.
