Bittorrent Help

I have no clue if this is against the rules or not but I really need help, whenever I use Bittorrent I always have Two Problems

1)It goes so damn slow
2)I keep getting a message from Norton saying a remote system is trying to access my computer. I know its talking about Bittorrent but when I first got Bittorrent I never had that problem.

Can someone help?

Bittorrent is a Leeching program. A person seeds a file and then sends it through Bittorrent.

So it is going to be obviously hella slow and the the person who is sending the file is "accessing your computer." This is just natural. Bittorrent requires patience. Therefore, you have no problems.

Disable your firewall so someone else can d/l off you. And when they're downloading, of course it's going to be slow.
And it's not BitTorrent that's illegal, it's the stuff your get off it that is.

1. Disable the firewall.
2. If you have a DMZ (Demilitarized zone) support on your router, set your IP to a static IP and enter your computer IP in the DMZ setting on the router configuration page.
