Alrighty then. This is the first competetive team I've ever constructed, so bear with me if it has flaws. The team is not trained yet, so it's fully open to changes. I have very little experience in EV training, so that's something I could use help on.
In any case, this is not likely to be used against Standard teams, so no comparisons to that, please. It's BL/UU only. Anyway, here they are:
Swellow@Flame Orb
Adamant
Guts
31 HP, 252 ATT, 225 SPD
Facade
Brave Bird
Roost
U-Turn
A great starter. I put so many EVs in HP since it will be taking a lot of passive and recoil damage, allowing me to be bulkier than most would expect. It's already got awesome base Speed, so it doesn't need max Speed EVs. Flame Orb activates Guts and gives it the same power as a Choice Band. Combined with STAB, it gains ridiculous damage with Facade and Brave Bird.
Froslass@ Leftovers
Modest
Snow Cloak
4 HP, 252 SP. ATT, 252 SPD
Spikes
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball
Thunderbolt
Pretty typical. It's immune to Rapid Spin, so it will switch in on Rapid Spinners. Obvious STAB attacks, and Thunderbolt for good coverage. Spikes is there for support and works well with it's type.
Seviper@ Life Orb
Timid
Shed Skin
4 HP, 252 SP. ATT, 252 SPD
Dark Pulse
Sludge Bomb
Flamethrower
Glare
Seviper is typically thought of as physcial, so this can work well, since it's Special stat is equally good. Dark Pulse hits Psychics hard, Sludge Bomb for STAB, Flamethrower for Steel types, and Glare to screw sweepers trying to switch in. It can also eat status thanks to Shed Skin.
Relicanth@ Leftovers
Adamant
Rock Head
4 HP, 252 ATT, 252 SPD
Head Smash
Waterfall
Earthquake
Rock Polish
Used later on. Use Rock Polish then cause major damage with STAB Head Smash. Earthquake covers Electric types, and Waterfall gets STAB and chance of flinch.
Claydol@ Leftovers
Calm
Levitate
66 HP, 130 SP ATT, 126 SP. DEF, 180 DEF
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Earth Power
Psychic/ Calm Mind
Bulky wall. Stealth Rock, combined with Spikes, makes for big passive damage. Levitate lets me harmlessly switch into Earthquake and Rapid Spin if I need to. It's attacks are for STAB, although Psychic is pretty much filler right now. Calm Mind, maybe? Lack of good recovery hurts, but it's unavoidable.
Toxicroak@ Black Sludge/Wide Lens
Jolly
Dry Skin
4 HP, 252 ATT, 252 SPD
Earthquake/Stone Edge
Sucker Punch
Cross Chop
Swords Dance/ Fake Out
Hard hitting physical attacker that can kill what Swellow can't. Earthquake because nobody else on my team has it, but Stone Edge is also a possibility (in which case I would use a Wide Lens to help with both of my inaccurate attacks), Cross Chop for STAB and hitting normals like Snorlax, and I can't decide on Fake Out or Swords Dance. Swords Dance would let it cause monster damage, but Fake Out gets me a solid first hit. Both have their uses, but I'm leaning toward Swords Dance.
Well? Thoughts?
