Black dot?

Today, I was playing with my friend's Ruby version, and I checked the summary of his Metagross. On the first page of the summary, between the Pokéball and the level, there is a small black dot. What could it possibly mean?

I have heard of this,I think hes metagross has pokerus, not sure tho

It means his Metagross had Pokerus and can never get it again.

No, if it DOES have it, then it would have the status "Pkrs". The black dot means that it HAD pokerus and not anymore.

To clarify:

It USED to have PokeRus. It does not currently have PokeRus nor will it ever get it again in the future.
