There are already two blue DS Lites. Ice Blue, and Enamel Navy. They just aren't available outside of Japan, bar importing of course.

Well, I think that the only reason that I would get a DS lite would be to compliment me Wii, and their styles are very similar so I would think that there will be one of ever colour of the Wii. I think I am going to wait until I get my Wii before I get my DS Lite.

I think that black would actually look pretty cool, but that image someone has coloured in at the top of the thread does not show it.

It would be nice but here (in the netherlands..) there always is only 1 colour.. maybe there will be 3 with the lite but i don't think that the black one will be there.. it's a shame though..

Well, they'll definatly be a Pink version. Nintendo turned a whole load of girls to gaming with Nintendogs and it would seem silly not to cater for them now they're here to stay.

There was a Black GBA, I had it. Personally, I found ti the best colour with the others being either too childish or too "girly" for my liking.

No there isn't. Even on the original site that was posted on, they admitted the picture to being a photoshop mockup.

Although the image may be fake, I'd bet everything that they will bring a black one out eventually because it will sell and they know it. People do tend to go for the neutral colours over the bright pink and whatever. I got the navy Lite because first time I saw a glimpse of it I thought it was black, even when I knew it was blue it was still sexy to me, my friends got the white one and I thought maybe when they came I would be disappointed with my decision, but I'm not at all, I much prefer my navy. Dark colours just look better.

I agree. White and Black are always top sellers when it comes to colors.

And on a random note, I bought my Navy Lite for the same reason as you.

On an even more random note that your post sparked, not to sound selfish to any future DS Lite owners over here in the states, but when I heard the Lite would launch here in only white, I was actually pretty happy over the prospect of owning an exclusive color.
