Introduction
Stantler was running over the thick, cold ice of the Ice Sheets. He was terrified. He was being chased over the white snow by a monster, a cold-blooded killer. It was catching up to him. He could hear Its breath behind him. He was tired, so tired. Why not rest and let it all end. No! He would run. But it was to late. It caught up with him and slew him mercilessly. Blood spattered the air. Stantler died with a grimace of terror still on his face. It left, satisfied there was no witness to this gory deed. But there was. From the nearby Pine trees that dotted the bleak landscape, someone had seen. Magraw Murkrow, the Ice Shaman, Mouthpiece of the Spirits. He pulled a feather from his tail and dropped it, noting how it fell. His face was grave. The feather had told him all he needed to know. "There are Evil times a-coming, where courage and wisdom and love shall be needed. For this is the time of the Black Feather Spell!"
