I was reading on this site, that Blaziken can learn Thunderpunch in Emerald. Is this really true? Because if it is, that eliminates two of its four weaknesses.

Awesome. Then I suppose, I'll go with this moveset:

;257;
-Sky Uppercut
-Thunderpunch
-Flamethrower
-Earthquake

To get blazkin with a thunderpunch you must either beed it as a egg move, or you must pay 48 battle points to the move tuttors in the battlefrontier to get the move.

it's not one of blaziken's egg moves. otherwise, it would've been able to get it in past games. EMERALD MOVE TUTOR ONLY

for the record, EQ covers pretty much the same types as sky uppercut does, and it's weaker.

Well with those moves, you should be careful choosing its nature. To think that its moves contains both attack and sp.atk, unless you want one of the status stronger than the other one. Anyway, that moveset still good

SInce this is sort of about MS's, it may have been better in the RMT section IMO.

Anyway, a t-punching ken would be:

blaziken@CB/lefties
lonely/adamant nature
- sky uppercut
- t-punch
- RS
- SD

or FB over something.

Just to correct your information, blaziken is a mixed sweeper but with higher attacks, so I suggest teaching a blaziken moves like earth quake and
ariel ace, then with sky uppercut and flamethrower/thunder punch its a great pokemon.

No, you need FB because Blaziken doesn't have as high attacks, and if you use the prefered nature, adamant, you lose more sp. atk, so that's why you need it. And you also need
SU, FB, SD, and RS, and t-punch instead of FB prob, but when you think about it, t-punch is really not that good on him, because:

1. no STAB
2. lower sp. atk
3. even lower sp. atk from adamant

so yeah.

aerial ace has a power of 60, so it's bad on pokemon that don't get STAB on it. other than type, it's exactly the same as swift, and who uses that?

my favorite blaziken set is adamant, @leftovers or salac berry, with sky uppercut/rock slide/swords dance/flamethower.

flamethrower to kill the steel-type physical tanks. and the only pokemon in the game to resist sky uppercut/rock slide are medicham, claydol, and the nidos.

Thunderpunch is useless.
Keeping it out against waters is stupid.
Keeping it out against flying types is stupid.
The 2 Best MS's for blaze are;
@Leftovers
Naive/Jolly
-Fire Blast
-Swords Dance
-Sky Uppercut
-Rock Slide

or
@Salac Berry
Naughty
-Endure/Substitute
-Reversal
-Flamethrower (Same concept as Typhlosion. With Blaze up, you really don't want to miss)
-Swords Dance/Rock Slide

I didn't even know that blaziken could learn thunderpunch! Wow, this site is so helpful. And I didn't know that there were so many better players than me. I always beat my friends and now my friends don't like pokemon anymore, so I'm still the best in my group of friends. I have a lot of pokemon that know only what they learn leveling up. Is that bad?

Yes. For example, Rhydon needs Rock Slide, and he can't learn it except by breeding.
Why don't you post your team in the RMT section and have someone (like Me!) rate it?

EDIT: whoo hoo!!! Knuckle trainer!!!
