blissey strongest pokemon?

im sorry but after seeing lvl 100 blissy and lvl 100 deoxys and mewtwo fight in a double battle, and blissy won, i have to get that thought, with such high defense, powerful attacks dont do poo.

Blissey starts with poor defense (10) but high in Sp.Def (105,I think) To think that Blissey won the battle because its superb Sp.Def against Mewtwo's Psychic. Yeah, Blissey sure has one serious weakness...

Er, no. Blissey's Defense is absolutely horrible, and its biggest weakness. A strong physical attack'll own it in a heartbeat. =/

Blissey is not the most powerful Pokémon in the game, end of story. >_>;; There is no "most powerful Pokémon"; each one has its own strengths and weaknesses, and can be defeated in some way or another.

Yeah,in the game there is no strongest pokemon.Every pokemon in game has a counter. Blissty is a strong special wall,but its defense sucks.Any fighter can kill it.A fighter with vital throw can counter the double team ones.Mewtwo and Deoxys can't beat it cause they are special sweepers.

In Smogon, they're saying Groudon is the best pokemon, but I don't think so. Each pokemon is good in one thing or another, and Blissey isn't the best. Any physical move that has some power such as focus punch, explosion, sky attack, etc, will KO Blissey.

Blissey is quite far from the most powerful pokemon. She can soap up Mewtwo and Deoxys's special attacks but focus punch and superpower=a dead egg. She has a strong hp to cover up that awful defense. On the offensive side, she is one of the weakest, her only attack that can do something is seismic toss and maybe ice beam.

Machamp's Cross Chop would kill it 5 times before it hit the ground!

All you have to do is keep using Leer or Tail Whip, then maybe Howl or Swords Dance. A few hits will claim a Blissey if you have enough revives/potions.

Blissy, come to think of it, is pretty, well...decent.

Psh, Blissey is a wuss. Any strong physical sweeper craps all over her. Even Typhlosion, a special-based Pokemon usually given a -Atk nature, could probably KO her in at at most 3 hits with EQ.

Blissey should only be used to defend against special types while another Pokémon gets over something like Sleep Powder, Thunder Wave, or so on.

Seismic Toss should be put on Blissey just so it can dish out a fair amount of damage. 100HP every turn? Yes please!

Blissey is a good okémon, I mean, great, I mean, excelent! if the opponent has just special attacks it will have almost no effect due to leftovers, if the opponent is psychical blissey can easly use counter and deal 100% HP on opponent, just STABed (good) fighting attacks can kill it.
it can paralyze making leftovers more useful, also it can use aromatherapy also useful in double battles (you use rest and blissey uses aromaTh.). to complete she learns seismic toss and softboiled!

Just like everyone has said, Blissey have a very big HP and Sp.Def, but very poor defense. No need to use Cross Chop or Focus Punch, Blissey can faint only with Low Kick.

Blissey's HP (almost) makes up for its poor defense, so it's isn't really owned by every physical move. It can take 2 or 3 physical hits. Well, mine seems to at least.

As already mentioned, Blissey owns with Counter.
