Blissey!?

OMG! My friend (AKA StallerSweeperSponge) found a Blissey in the Battle FActory with the following moveset:

Fire Blast
Softboiled
Blizzard
Calm Mind


This got me thinking. It actually KOed a killer Starmie with Fire Blast!!! So I suggest it...

Anything can be used as a special sweeper, even a shucle but it would SUCK BIG TIME! We just point out what pokemon would be best in what category.
Blisseys specials arent bad as I recall. And the following might have happened.

Maximixed DV of blissey (SpAttck+, 31 IV, 252 Evs)
Minimized DV of starmie (SpDef-, 0 IV, 0 Evs)
Critical hit.
Calm minded.
Charcoal.

There you go.

Blissey special sweeper sucks. Those moves really suck too. Blizzard, Fire Blast, etc are really blast and Blissey has no healing move in there.

Blissey can be either a physical sweeper or special sweeper, but in both ways, she sucks, it is just like something to get opponents moves PP down and nothing else.

BTW, Deathskully, what do you think Softboiled is? Attacking move, or healing move?

first off, blissy has like only 50 max attack points. Even with all the Ev's. so Iknow how it would work like a sweeper,and yes it seems like a surprise attack on your enemy, but a tank is more of what a blissy can get good at.

I have seen the same blissey,and ya it is quite good.

I have seen the same blissey,and ya it is quite good.

all the attacks mentioned so far work off of the special attack stat, which blissey can have up to 273. not too bad, actually. tank/wall blissey is better, but special sweeping blissey can be pretty funny. boltbeam, CM and softboiled could make for some evil times. and with serene grace, the chances of freeze/para haxing is 1/5.

and it's physical attack can go up to a maximum of 130 at level 100.

blissey doesnt have very good speed and good attack points
that is why i taught it metrinome and sizemictoss
and the blissey in the battle factory probly had a timid nature that is not very good

How to use it:

Call out Blissey againts any Sp. sweeper and start off by using "Substitute" and then toxic. Toxic damages the foe on each turn and then you can compliment that by using the level-based attack "Seismic Toss." Use "Softboiled" when needed, and put out another "Substitute" when the other one gets knocked out. I tell you, Blissey can be pretty devastating.

So many things...

1. Metronome is bad on a Blissey, most of the time it ends up with a move which sucks/is not very effective.

2. If it has CM it must have atleast one move which benefits from Sp. Att since Metronome, as said already, sucks.

3. Blissey isn't a Blissey without Softboiled and I will pity the poor soul who'll ask why.

I'll have to agree with you on that. I got inspired by it and tried it against myself and oh boy, it sure worked great.

Not a bad idea, but IMO, I'd use a Blissey with Heal bell or Aromatherapy, like UnforgivingSuicide said, to reduce any status effects on your team Pokemon.

Some Pokemon can serve multiple purposes. Blissey is not one of 'em.

Blissy IMO can be a special sweeper, but it isnt a good one! Blissys a tank/healer/annoyer, it can be a sweeper but its not to good at it.

You've got a point there..... But a Blissey KOing a Starmie with Fire Blast!? And thats why it is good- Blissey has the highest HP i nthe game so it can survive lotsa hits...

It is great to have one in the BF though. It can be useful.

I fought someone with a special-sweeping Blissey once. I actually lost because it came out when I already lost my physical sweepers, and it became nearly impossible to kill with Calm Mind.
