hello i am very fond of these forums and i wanted help on getting blissey

i wanted to know if i trade my chancey from fr/lg to emerald and level it up by giving it an exp share and battling the elite four with chansey in my team would it evolve or do i have to do something else

No it’s Bold. Blissey needs Bold and 252 Defense EVs to help it survive as many physical attacks as possible.

The lady gives you the effort ribbon for max evs.

To answer the question: get a Chansey and make it as happy as possible. Then level it up once.

But you might wanna listen to the guy who said something about Blissey's EVs. Without planned EVs, it will die to anything and everything that has a Fighting move onto it. Still beats anything that uses Special moves, though.

Um, you're not going to keep Blissey in against a Fighting move. That's just stupid. The Defense is for any non-Fighting physical attack.

well you could if blissey has a move like blizzard or thunder and high attack

btw Blissey can be Relaxed Nature too, I rock with it.

Also you can give Chansey the "happy" berries and level up once

well i just evolved my modest natured chansey last night only by leveling with an exp share against the elite four then i got i groomed and gave it three rare candys it had evolved at level 42 i just wanted it for pokedex purposes

That's right. Blissey was designed to be the premier Special Tank, along with Skarmory (Physical Tank). that's the loved and hated Skarmbliss duo. Anyway, my Blissey have a Bold Nature and those attacks: Aromatherapy, Softboiled, Seismic Toss, Ice Beam. It works pretty good.

The fastest way to happy evo a pokemon is to use a soothe bell + mach bike on the breeding route.I did that plus the occasional grooming and my chansey evolved in just 1 level. Ha ha,but seriously, its fast.
