Well, Viz has realeased Volume 10 of the Manga as a "test" Manga. If it sells well they probably will release the others. The Manga is 250 pages long about, which is pretty big. Is it worth your money?

YES!

The Manga is freakin hillarious. SO much as I would actually not reccomend reading this in class as you will probably burst out laughing. (Or, if your like me, your rember something hillarious in the middle of class and laugh out loud).

Viz also does a nice translation, it doesn't look like their were any visual edit. The scipt inserts some american jokes (Deseperate Trophy Wives), but alot of the jokes probably wouldn't translate well. Also they call Don Patch Poppa Rocks, which kinda bugs me and leaves me wondering why they changed it only in the english Manga, the dub of the show leaves it as Don Patch. Also Osiris is renamed Slifer the Sky Dragon. Only in the dialouge, the cards says its Japanese name (Since I believe in japan the card is always written with the english alphabet). No! I am not thinking of the wrong Manga, Yugi (drawn by Takahasi), pops out of Bo's head and summons Slifer! FREAKING AWESOME!

So go buy this Manga, cause the future of a american release depends on it. And if you don't, Serviceman will attack you! (Uh..whats that suppose to be anyway?)

tell me, what's the names of the others on that manga? Is Heppokumaru Gasser? Is Tekkoukein(mispelling) Jelly Jiggler?

Hoppokumaru is Gasser. Tekkouin (Actually I think it is Tokkero) is Jelly Jiggler. I don't know if the others have their japanese names or not, as I don't know what their names were originally. Beauty and Softon keep their names.

Actually, it's Tokoro. Close enough, though. Anyway, this manga is just as hilarious as the anime. And Yugi made a cameo! That was awesome!

That Yugi + Bo-BoBo combo is used in Jump Superstars! And I saw a scan of it happening! They should release a Sawai version of the Slifer The Sky Dragon card, that can actually be playable!

Viz could've just shown more BoBoBo previews in Shonen Jump rather than jabbing us with an arc that doesn't have much impact on the story and is quite ahead of even the anime (way to spoil crap o_O).

Hell, I'd like to know what the hell is wrong with Viz. BoBoBo got some very good reviews from people, especially from the SJ previews. There wasn't any need to throw in just volume 10 at the moment. Nor was there any need for changing names. If the anime's keeping the names, there's no reason for Viz to go out of their way to change them. This is almost as bad as changing Majin Buu to Djinn Buu.

There's one thing that scanlators do that Viz has failed to do recently; explain Japanese gags and puns. Little notes are good for these explanations. Hell, they could do what TokyoPop did with Samurai Deeper Kyo and include a glossary section with Japanese terms and phrases with explanations beside them.

First off its is volume 9 that they are showing us. Also the anime change names too(Gasser, Jelly Jiggler, etc) so if ya going to complain the name change in the manga do so in the anime as well like I am.

Viz has done glossery culture notes, they did it with Rurouni Kenshin.

Kojiro, Japan is at volume 19 I believe.
