Yeah, it does.

It's caused me to edit a random back-sprite into one of my role-play characters.

And here it is:

Mwaha. Fear it. >D

Now...I'm not the best at editing sprites, okay? I'm sort of a beginner... So don't tell me it sucks or anything. I already know that. xD

But, I would like some comments about what I can do to make it look better.

You did a pretty decent job. ^^

The two biggest things you need to work on are...

1. The shirt. It needs shading. It looks like you don't have any right now.
2. The hair. If I'm not mistaken, it needs shine, and maybe better shading.

So... just improve on those things. The shapes of everything look great, though. ^^;

like what jakepwnsjoo said, the hair needs shine and the shirt needs shading.
but i also noticed the hand holding the pokeball on the bottom has a thick outline. thin that out, and it'll look better.

Yeah... I really should work on the shading now that you've mentioned it...

I'll work on it later ^_^

I edited another back-sprite... Well, the same sprite, but in a different pose.

I felt this one turned out a little better than the first.

oh those are really good they both look lik they need a bit more shading in the shirt area tho but besides that awesome!
