Boxes in lady's house on seven island?

I know this has probably been posted somewhere already, but I HAVE searched. But anyway, what are those boxes there for? what are they blocking? Can you do anything with them? They have to do something, b/c otherwise, why would they make it so that it says something when you go up and press A? Can someone please enlighten me?

I know a simalar thing happens In R/S with the same kind of thing, with those Mystery Event E-Cards, behind the locked door, is the mystery Trainer.

A: This is another feature from the Japanese game that was left out of the English one.

Just like the similar house in R/S/E, this was for using battle e-cards. But again, there are no e-cards for the English version of FR/LG, so the house is useless.
