Brain Age, one of the most popular games in Japan, is coming in April! Brain Age, (aka Brain Training) is a successful franchise and is one of the things that cause Nintendo DS to be popular in Japan. Check out the article of this hit game:

I really want this game myself. I've seen the Japanese version before (actually, a friend of mine imported it), and it's the most fun I've ever had with a DS game EVER. Plus, the English version contains Sudoku! That wasn't in the Japanese version, and that's worth the price of admission alone!

Although I think they might take out "translate this to..." part of the game.
The Japanese version had a part where you'd translate a Japanese word to English, and you had to write it on the screen.

I seriously doubt we'll have that. Oh well, the inclusion of Sudoku makes up for that. ^^

they could always reverse it and put english to japanese or something. Or Spanish because that I believe is the 2nd largest language in the U.S.

Anyqay I'm excited about this game because this is what made the DS popular in Japan. Everyone(not literally) wants or has one in Japan. Although people hoping to see amazing sales for it I wouldnt bank on it. In japan it took a few months before it became a hit. If I recall it launched at May in Japan but it didnt sell well until fall.

Well, the game is kinda like Warioware, except with mathematical, verbal, and writing questions involved.

For math, expect to see stuff like multiplication, addition, and subtraction, which most children above the age of 10 or 11 SHOULD be able to do.

I doubt it'll sell that well over here, though. :\
These sort of things don't appeal to people in this country. They'd rather have their shooting games, racing games, and fighting games. ;_;

Maybe the Spanish... I highly doubt that they'll make you translate Japanese though. I mean, how many kids know that many Japanese words or kana/hiragana?

Intersting. I read about this game a while ago and how it's the rage in Japan. I think I might get it. After all when you're pretty smart you're sure to beat it easily! (Though it may surprise me...like what the heck is Su Doku? Meh I'll google for it).

This game has been at the top of the Japanese sales charts for a long time now, I'll be sure to check it out. Someone was telling me though that apparently you can only play this game for 10 minutes a day, apparently your brain only learns well for that amount of time (kids, go tell that to your teachers in first period then take the rest of the day off) so after that amount of time it just sort of stops you from using it or something... However, apparently the same article said a similar thing abut Animal Crossing, so I'm not convinced it was 100% acurate ;). I'll be checking this one out.

Well, i think that the Ds was made for games like this. I mean, games like Nintendogs and Wario Ware are the type of games i would but for the DS, as you cannot get them on anything else. I think that I will be getting this game, And if it is $20 in the UK, does that mean it will be something like £15 in the UK? I think i will definatly get it if it is that cheap.

Nintendogs was easily the topselling game all over the world...

It seems interesting but I would rather get a game where I can learn Japanese or something, lol.

Time will tell.
I think this could be a great excuse to play my DS in class during math. I could say "I'm doing some brain training! I am doing math! Stop getting on my case!" Lol. Anyway, it looks good, I've done Sudoku myself, its very challenging. Harder than first-timers would think. Now for the price, $20.00? Thats a nice price. Why would I play it? I dunno, if I had a homework craving, I could use this thing. Meh, I'll probably get MPH.

My brain = 3,000 yrs old (Awesome huh? JK)
