When breeding anything with a Ditto, the Everstone must always go on the Ditto for the Everstone trick to work. To solve your problem, you could either get a Modest Ditto and give it the Everstone, or breed any male Pokémon in the Indeterminate egg group with your Modest Ralts, keeping the Everstone on the Ralts.
Thanks! I bred it with another Ralts, and it did the trick. I hatched one more egg with the Ditto, just to see if I'd get lucky.

Got another Timid one. So weird.

IV confusion

Ok so I'm trying to breed a perfect Abomasnow, but this is my first try at IV's..

Snover's I currently have;

- HP23 ATT4 DEF19 SPD30 SATT3 SDEF22 Female
- HP15 ATT23 DEF30 SPD2 SATT13 SDEF30 Male
(First set parents)

- HP0 ATT23 DEF30 SPD30 SATT15 SDEF26 Male
- HP11 ATT31 DEF19 SPD30 SATT13 SDEF26 Male
- HP23 ATT25 DEF30 SPD2 SATT28 SDEF22 Male
- HP24 ATT4 DEF17 SPD30 SATT18 SDEF30 Female
- HP21 ATT4 DEF30 SPD30 SATT0 SDEF20 Female
(best of the hatchlings)

Now I'm sort of stuck.. should I continue to breed with the underlined male? if so with which female, or should I keep on breeding the first set?

Do only 3 IV's go down to the hatchlings and thus meaning I got my max, being 30 in SPD, DEF and SDEF?

First of all, what are you looking to train him in, like Attack, Defense, HP, what?

I was extremely lucky today, and hatched another Shiny Magikarp (I was saving before gathering Eggs, in order to SR for better IVs). However, I have been SRing for quite some time now, and I keep getting the same nature. Can the nature be changed by SR?

If I am reading this right, you saved in front of the old man with an egg, and are SRing for better IVs. The thing is, when the egg is made, shinyness/nature/gender etc, everything except IVs are set, so you can keep SRing for better IVs. How did you get a shiny like that? If what I read was right, then its impossible to get a shiny.

The nature of an egg can be changed if you save when the old man doesn't have an egg, and run around until he does. Then just hatch the egg, and keep/SR for a different egg.

How is it impossible? I have been hatching for two days for another shiny (I got my first hatched shiny two days ago; a Lax Magikarp). Then I decided to hatch for another one with a better nature (I thought I would be able to change the Nature if I ever found another Shiny by Saving in front of the Old Man before I take an Egg). So I hatched one Egg at a time, saving before taking it, and then not getting another Egg until the one I had was hatched. That way I thought that if I got a Shiny I would be able to SR for better natures. Then, when I finally hatched a Shiny, I started SRing for a better Nature, only to find that it stayed the same. It's not impossible, as you say, to get a shiny. It's just really lucky on my part. And just so you know, I have never used any external cheating device, or anything that may otherwise alter my game's coding in any way. It's pure luck.

Thanks for answering my question, btw :)

Don't worry I don't believe for a second you used an AR/GameShark....

Anyway onto my question;

Is it possible to get a Munchlax with Curse/Substitute/Zen Headbutt?

I have a question about nature breeding: how exactly do you do it? I've wanted a Relaxed Mudkip for so long, that I have half a box FULL of Mudkips trying to get the Relaxed nature. I gave up and went to the Sassy nature. But anyway, is there any trick to get a good natured Pokemon with breeding?

I'm assuming you don't want to use TM90 or the Zen Headbutt Move Tutor. Here's the shortest chain I can find:

Kecleon (Substitute at Level 39 in D/P, Level 37 in Pl) -> Nidoran-M/Psyduck/Seel/Rhyhorn/Mareep/Wooper/Delibird/Whismur/Spheal/Piplup/Bidoof/Buizel -> Slowpoke (Curse at Level 1, Zen Headbutt at Level 34) -> Munchlax

The only trick to help passing on specific natures is to give an Everstone to the female parent (if a Ditto is involved, however, the Ditto must hold the Everstone), which will give the offspring a 50% chance of inheriting the parent's nature.

Can charizard learn fire punch.

For the ursuring, have a smeargal sketch those moves and breed a female ursuring and a male smeargal and poof! you have a teddiursa with close combat and crunch.

Charizard Can learn FirePunch, only by pokemon emerald or platinum Move Tutors

Ow! Ow! Harder! Ow!
Skarmory can get Curse by breeding with a Farfetch'd, but that severely hinders Skarmory's list of available Flying type moves due to Farfetch'd's limited movepool.

Brave Bird, Drill Peck, Fly, and Sky Attack are Skarm's only viable STAB moves (if he got Iron Head through Move Tutor, I'd get it in a heartbeat). When breeding for Curse, which of these moves can Skarmory get? And how?

Just Fly by HM, I'm afraid.

when breeding, how many IV stats are passed to the baby from its parents? I mean, how many does it receive from its father, how many from its mother and how many are randomly asigned?

Between one and three (usually two) IVs are passed on. You never know which ones.

this one's about Lanturn's ability. If he gets struck by Thunder Wave, will he be paralized or gain health?

If Lanturn had Volt Absorb, it would be healed by 25% of it's max HP.

If Lanturn had Illuminate, it would get paralysed.

another one: xD

I am breeding for Hitmonlee. When Tyrogue is born, how can I know the ability he will have as a Hitmonlee? Tyrogue has Guts/Steadfast and Hitonlee Limber/another one. Is there any way to know?

Guts will become Limber, and Steadfast will become Reckless.
