In emerald,
there is a house behind the Pokemon center in Battle Frontier.
the old guy in that house tells me
IV's of my pokemon...
But he doesn't say them in numbers.
He says things such as "it is over-average"
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT NUMBERS THOSE SAYINGS REPRESENT???

Sum of IV - comentary
0 to 90: I would describe as having being of average ability
91 to 120: I would as having a better-than-average ability
121 to 150: I would say is quite impressive in ability!
151 to 186: I would say is wonderfully outstanding in ability!

stat IV - comentary
0 to 15: that stat is relatively good.
16 to 25: that stat is quite impressive.
26 to 30: that stat is outstanding!
31: It´s flawless! a thing of perfection!

if your pokemon has more than one highest IV (for example, a bagon with flawless attack and flawless speed), he'll pick one at random to tell you. show him again, he may pick a different one.

I am breeding... so level 5 babies are not good for IV calculators..
It is very very unaccurate..(It had a big range such as 10~29 IV because of little differences in stats)

...yeah, at level 5, IV ranges when you plug stats into a calculator can be anywhere from 20 IVs (0 - 19 or 10 - 29) to two IVs (30 - 31). but never, with a level 5 pokemon, will you be able to calculate exact IVs.

the easiest stats to see if they're at or near max are the ones whose base stats end in a 5, such as shroomish's speed or zangoose's attack. for those, the highest possible stat will have a range of 30-31 (for example, if you hatch an aerodactyl, and it's attack is 17 (or 18, with a +attack nature), it's attack IV is either 30 or 31.
