Breeding Problem here...

I have a breeding problem here...I have a lv. 5 Skarmory with Drill Peck which was recently hatched...And I left it in the Daycare until lv.45. The Drill Peck is gone...ya I know...but when I went to the Move Rememberer, Drill Peck wasn't on the list...I was shocked! Was there any problem I made? Or should I train Skarmory myself in order to stop Drill Peck from loosing? Thanks!

Drill peck is an egg move, it isn't learned normally on a Skarmory. The level 5 hatched one must have had a father with Drill Peck.

Skarmory can learn Drill Peck only via breeding, so if you leave in the Day-Care a pokemon, every move the pokemon can learn, the man learns it to your pokemon and deletes the oldest move, so, I suggest you get another baby Skarmory with Drill Peck and don't let him in the Day-Care.

Raise the Skarmory up until it only learns 3 more moves. Delete all his moves other than Drill Peck. Then chuck him in the Daycare. Then again, you probably want it to know Spikes.

I think it'd be easier to just Exp Share it through the Hoenn League a couple of times.

The move rememberer can only teach the moves that your pokemon can learn leveling up, Skarmory can't learn Drill Peck through leveling, so its impossible to teach it again.

That's happened to me, 'tis really annoying.
What I do is find out when the Pokemon learns 3 other moves using the Pokedex. When the Pokemon reaches that level, I take it out of the Daycare and delete the moves (except the wanted egg move).
What you should do - get that male Dodou that you got the Egg Move from and rebreed it with a female Skarmory. You'll have to train it from Lv 5 though.

you don't have to delete them. just put drill peck as the last move in the list.

I lost the Steel Wing-move of my Colloseum-Noctowl, because I left it in the Day-Care. And I lost the Return-move of my Togetic in Silver, but that wasn`t so hard to get...
