Brilliant Pokémon likeliness

Hi!

Does anyone know the exact base chances of finding brilliant Pokémon? The ones that are glowing yellow in the overworld. Like with shiny Pokémon we know the base chances are 1:4096, then that can be changed with more encounters and other methods. But it gives us a number for the likeliness to start off from. But what is the exact base chances for brilliant Pokémon? 1:500?

Bulbapedia has a table documenting your question. The encounter rate for Brilliant Pokémon increases as you encounter more of that specific species of Pokémon. It starts at 1.5% and maxes out at 3%. However, your rate of encountering Shiny Brilliant Pokémon can continue to increase.

Thanks, I see! And do the game keep track of how many brilliant Pokémon that you have:
1 Just seen in the overworld (not battling at all, just seeing it)
2 Actually battled and defeated
3 Caught

Are those numbers or any kind of number for brilliant Pokémon saved/displayed anywhere?
