This thread exists to discuss the possible roles that various buildings seen in official screenshots play in the game.

-Almost positive this is the new Pokelab.

-Top right: Housing complex or business institute?

I would say that last one is either a gym or a buisness building.

1st: a house
2nd: agreed with the train/subway, but the other looks like one of those fan club buildings
3rd: It's a freaking Pokemon Center! The other? Yeah. Museum.
4th: Not sure myself.

You're right, it actually does look a lot like a gym. It seems quite flashy and attention grabbing though. Maybe it's a contest place or something?

Oh wow, I feel dumb. I can't believe I didn't realize that 1 and 3 were the same :(

I think this thread is necessary, or at least more so than a lot of other ones on this board. The implications of a subway and more are actually pretty neat in terms of what to anticipate from the game as a whole.

4.Looks like the building you get your Poketchi in (if I'm not mistaken, that's a bussiness room in those pics on the official site that deal with the Poketchi). If not, a gym or something of similar importance.

Pic 1: "Pokémon Kenkyuujo." That's what the Ru/Sa/Em Lab is called, so I'm pretty sure it is the lab.

Pic 2:
Top left: A garage-style building. Could be a train station. (Hokkaido has a very well established train network.)
Top right: a 3-storey appartment. Probably another trivial building just there for flavour.
Bottom left: Pokémart.
Bottom right: Some skyscraper. Can't see enough of it.

Pic 3:
Top left: Same lab seen in the first shot.
Top right: Pokémon Center
Bottom: A pointy roofed house of a similar style to the Futaba town houses.

Pic 4:
Top left: Probably an important building. Possibly a train station or the next "Silph/Devon"-style gigantic corporation.
Top right: A skyscraper. Possibly the same one from Pic 2.

Also, in the seond picture there is a Pokémart in the lower left hand corner...and I agree with everyone on every picture! XD
