The light is coming
That Melanie girl is crazy to set that bridge as a trap lol. Someone could've been seriously injured on it. I wonder if they have lawyers in the Pokemon world.

How come this episode happened at a so-called hidden village yet we never saw more than a single cottage? Bulbasaur seemed so cold and distant too.

I also didn't remember Misty watching to catch more than Water-types that early on. I like that she had that aspect of her character, though I wish they allowed her to catch more of a variety like Brock.

lukipants said:damn, this episode is one of the more entertaining ones. i just made an account for this website to comment on this thread cause i had to say it somewhere. the misty/oddish part of the episode was my favorite, and the two really seemed to get along, i was sad when i realized misty wasn't gonna end up having the cute oddish on her teammaybe it would've been too much to have ash catch bulbasaur AND misty catch oddish, or maybe that early on they just wanted misty to have water pokemon. im not sure, but nonetheless, a cute episode.
