Burnout Revenge help

Not the face!
I'm having some trouble in Burnout Revenge. I'm at rank 10 right now, and I unlocked quite a few cars, but I don't understand excactlly how to unlock the Classic Rod (The black one, not the other one). Can anyone please help me?
