    Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
    Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
    Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.
  • Hi all. We had a couple of reports of people's signatures getting edited etc. in a bad way. You can rest assured this wasn't done by staff and nobody has compromised any of our databases.

    However, remember to keep your passwords secure. If you use similar passwords to elsewhere which has been accessed, people and even bots may be able to access your account.

    We always recommend using unique passwords, and two-factor authentication if you are able. Make sure you're as secure as possible

What possessed the writers to make "Ash's" Roggenrola boring?

While I think Roggenrola will be a nice addition to Ash's plethora of Pokemon, I can't help but think this is going to be a very boring capture episode, and it's failing already. I hope I'm wrong, but darn it writers, you could've been a bit more creative.

Personally I'm hoping he captures Roggerola #4, its my lucky number, *crosses fingers*.

Thanks man!! This doesn't really give capture vibes from what I've seen lol. Usually poke smash preview would have spoiled something wouldn't it??

Not really, Pokemon Smash didn't spoil Cilan's captures and Iris's capture. And possibly Palpitoad and Sewaddle's captures as well.

Good ol' Cilan freaking out about something ruining his food, one day it will drive him to therapy. I think Roggenrola jumped on the table to get Ash's attention so that Ash will capture it, or to seek help because somethings going on in that cave.

I don't know man for some reason I just don't feel like he is gonna capture it here(and no it is not because I hate the replica of geodude).

Not if Ash gets Roggenrola and considering the evidence I'm 90% sure he'll get. Ash better switch or at least tell us about where Palpitoad is, if we don't find out what happened to Palpitoad in this episode, before Ash gets yet another possible capture, I swear that I'm going to be so angry. And if he gets Roggenrola and he has two locked Pokeballs, I'll be even angrier.

I just don't get a capture immediately after he got an 8th Pokemon.

Let alone a Pokemon like Roggenrolla, expresionless, ugly, etc.

But that's just me.

Well, apart from it saying in the preview that Ash wants to catch it and battles it with Oshawott, is there any other reason for being so sure he'll get it?

I think it was semiconfirmed in someone's blog. Check a few pages back.

And there is merch for it.

Tepig battles it, merchandise, something recently saying what would happen in the next 3 episodes that a trusted person on here found, which says "Iris gets a Rival, Ash get a new Pokemon a Fossil gets revived.". Apart from that, not much evidence but it does seem like a capture episode though.
