White Version, Fiona's Diary:
3/22
Dear Diary:
Felt like crap all day yesterday, so I didn't get anything done. I'm feeling better today, though, so I trained Garza in the Desert Resort against the various Trainers there (I also caught a female Sigilyph with Magic Guard, but upon further reflection, that would only be really useful in areas like Route 4 with a sandstorm, and I don't think Poison or a Burn would hinder a Sigilyph that much). I checked out the Relic Castle, and a girl gave me a Plume Fossil, which I can apparently revive at the Nacrene Museum, which I'll have to do next time I'm in the area.
(OOC: I actually considered Leavanny and Archeops for my team instead of Sandile and Sigilyph, but I figure this way, I at least have a Special Attacker, which my Black team lacked for the longest time until I caught Aeriel (and even then, her Attack stat was higher, DESPITE being a Bold nature! What the hell, game?!)
When I had my fill, I made it to Nimbasa City, and was greeted by two Team Plasma Grunts harassing the Day-Care Man. I trashed them easily (aw, crap, I just remembered one of them used a Trubbish... ****...) and was rewarded with a Bicycle. Okay, I'll take it.
Then along comes Bianca, and we decide to check out the Pokemon Musical. The owner gave us Prop Cases and insisted we both dress up our Pokemon, so I settled for giving Hino a top hat and a cane, and we left to explore the city, but not before a run-in with Bianca's douchebag father. The two exchanged words, and Elesa, the Gym Leader, showed up and convinced Bianca's father to let her continue her journey. Sandra popped out of her ball to remind me I still had to track down Team Plasma, so I hit the amusement park, where I met N, who took me on the ferris wheel. During the ride, he dropped a bomb...
N is the king of Team Plasma. Why do I always fall for the sociopaths? FML.
After the ride, the Plasma Grunts from before found him, and N challenged me so he could cover their escape. I considered sending Garza to stop them, but he insisted on staying in case I needed him. I defeated N, only for him to challenge me to stop Team Plasma.
Again, why do I always fall for the sociopaths?
After the match, I decided I wanted to train on Route 16 so I could take on Elesa. According to the Pokedex, Sandra's close to evolving. Either way, she'll be my trump card in the Gym. I'll do a little more training, then challenge Elesa tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now!
