So what are the chances that Iris will get both Gothita and Deino one episode right after each other??

Very, very slim.
Gothita will most likely be a capture and Deino will be a development episode.
I would say "not that great but it's not unheard of".
As of right now people are simply assuming Iris gets Gothita because of the upcoming arc and the poster ... I don't think Gothita is gonna be captured by anyone and that it's simply on the poster because it's used to promote a ton of stuff.
So IMO this changes nothing.

I still have a little bit of hope that she'll get Gothita. I really like the Idea of Axew, Emolga, and Gothita in a triple battle! I don't know what made me think of that, but I really like it and hope it happens.

Does Iris really need a full team of dragons to be a future dragon master?? I mean, with her team now, she isn't really a type specialist...What do you all think of that?

Its looking more and more like the writers want Axew to be Iris' only dragon pokemon.
If she does get that psychic goth in the upcoming ep, it seals the deal for me even more. They could have had her with Deino but I suppose they want Axew to remain in the spotlight over any other dragon types.

Pretty much. Unless she was gonna go the Misty/ her in-game character route and have doubles of a line there's not much chance of seeing her get another Axew.
I think Axew and Deino would be good enough for BW. They're the only lines that can evolve and neither starts out big so you can really see the progress once they do grow. But I do like the thought of her getting an old, defeated Druddigon pack leader as her 3rd dragon (like Tracy's Scyther) that she trains so that it can regain its honor. That idea popped up on the capture thread and I just really like it lol! Would be a great mentor to her other dragons and it's not an over used idea.

Togekiss had a trainer, Oshawott had a trainer. The trainer could easily release/abandon/trade/give away their Pokemon.
Oshawott? Don't you mean Tepig or Snivy?

She isn't Oshawott's trainer, though.

Just because Ash is an experienced trainer instead of just starting out, it doesn't change anything. He would've still been Oshawott's OT, not Juniper.

To add, in-game the starter Pokemon's OT given to you by the regional professor is you.
Just like how the Snivy was given to Trip and Trip is the OT, Oshawott's OT is Ash.
Although to be fair, technically Juniper did gift Ash Oshawott even if Oshawott technically didn't belong to anyone, I would say at the very least Juniper could be considered the temporary owner of Oshawott, at least in the legal sense making it possible for her to give the Pokemon away to starting trainers. But I don't think she can claim full ownership over them.

What was this thread about again? Oh right, about Iris and Deino. So, I wonder how this episode will help out Iris further her goal and give her development. Let's see, Iris helps keep an eye on Deino until it's trainer returns maybe helping it master a move, or the daycare has no clue of if the trainer comes back so they give it to Iris. Speaking of which, can the daycare do that if a trainer doesn't come back for a year or more?

I swear Oshawott followed Ash and chose to be with him, Juniper didn't give it to him until she realised it was missing and found out it was with Ash.
I think I'm gonna have to agree with you. I think the only thing that's really important in the term "dragon master" is that Iris pushes the bond and understanding of dragons to their absolute limit.
