C h i g u s a [shading and vector trace]

This is my first time using Adobe Illustrator so it was hard finding all the controls. X_X I just vector traced the top half of Chigusa and the bottom half I had to draw out myself with just the brush and pencil tool because I couldn't really control anything else. xD;; After I finished tracing, I went to Photoshop to do the shading and coloring because I understood almost NOTHING in Illustrator. X_x I did Chigusa because I just loved her design, filler character or not, she has a better design then ANY character.

I made another one. Brad was one of my favorite Johto characters and it'd be a crime if he wasn't traced. I took off the P because it got in the way, he looks much sexier without the P. Leather = <3

I finally learned how to shade in Illustrator. PRAISE THE LORD. ;.;

Finished another vector trace and this time I added a background. Once again, I included the original trace. [Do not steal]

I'm going to try Aitwo next time and Whitney if I can find a picture with the top part of her body.

I reallly like these. I just don't like how the eyes are colored. On May's eye, the grey part seems the over shadow the black coloring.

These are really great, and the coloring is lovely. <3

Chigusa is my favorite filler character ever and one of my six top favorites:

I love it, I'm going to color it in, after I fix some of the crooked lineart. Dont worry, I dont steal artwork.
The others are good too. Although I have to say the May lineart came out exceptionally nice.
I've done vector art before, I had a Flash class and had two Flash trials on my computer so I'm familiar with it.

I used Illustrator not Flash Crystal Clair. xD And hell yeah, I just loved her design, it just had to be done. I made another one too:

I messed up on the hand BIG TIME. I accidently flipped it so it looks backwards. You comment on that, I kick your arse. ;; I dispise the eyes because instead of using the brush tool that makes it looks smooth, I use the pencil tool and the pupil turned out like that. DX

But anyways, I wish to comment on the vector drawings... They're all splendidly done... ^_^; I wish I could learn how to shade... ._.

I'm not sure if you can do that in the Corel Graphics Suit package, whatever you call it thingy, but I might as well try doing it too, if I get the time... X.x

This'll probably the only time I trace my sketches using Illustrator, it took me forever to finish this. It's Falkner if you didn't know, he's my latest obsession for some reason. >8D
