Ok, Forgive me if this thread seems like a complete rehash of a gazillion more out there plotting about catches/releases.

This is specifically for Cacnea and it´s future.
So far Masukkipa has been taking shamelessly the spotlight during the battles, and Cacnea seems to have vanished in the background that Dustox knows so well.
So what do you think will happen to Cacnea? You think it´s time to evolve has passed? you think it still has a chance of staying? You think she´ll be released? Masukkipa ate it and we have no idea?

It´d be nice to see some two´n two battle with Jame´s grass Pokemon, or maybe some Jealousy leading to fights...wouldn t it be awesome if Cacnea got Jealous and runs away?... Highly unlikely but...meh

Mods if you feel like it´s unnecessary feel free to shut the thread down.

Maybe Cacnea will evolve. It could be more like James' old Weezing and be an evolved, loyal pokemon. If not, then Cacnea can just go away with Dustox to somewhere since James already has two pokemon and Jessie probably needs someone new. N e way, thats my thought.

Yeah well.... I don t see the point of Cacnea on Jame´s team if it doesn t evolve...
Then again Cacturne is WAY too cool for James, IF it evolves I´m afraid it´d pull a Pidgeot and leave the same episode... Though it´d be awesome having the twerps fighting a mighty Cacturne and receiving some well-deserved Pwning but we all know that s in our wet dreams...
*sigh*

But wouldn t it make more sense if it found a wild Cacnea and they fall in love doing a Victreebel Rehash lol

Bah, Cacnea is cute and all...but Masukippa OWNS it so much, it's not funny.

He'll probably stay and be like Dustox, why Jessie continues to use Seviper mostly while James uses Masukippa (like when Victreebell began to be used more then Weezing in Johto).

Of course, we will probably see it out in funny scenes.

It's pretty obvious that Cacnea is going to be ditched fairly soon. I don't approve of the idea of ditching everything every time there's a new Region, but that's how the animé works. Isn't that right, May?

And yeah, as if the pattern itself weren't enough, Cacnea's replacement has already rolled in in the form of a sociopathic Venus Fly Trap. If that doesn't seal Cacnea's fate, then I don't know what does.

If anyone´s a Rehash of Victreebel is Masukkipa... the difference is Vic was vicious and actually tried to eat James while Masukkipa just likes the flavour.
I sincerely Hope Cacnea at least evolves and gets Dustoxed, I´d hate to see it ditched.

The fact that Cacnea is in the new opening makes your point moot methinks.

Well, I somehow bet there will be another rehash of the "Team Rocket! Goodbye to the Trouble Makers!!" episode. Which means Cacnea would evolve, TR finds a bunch of trapped Cacnea (and maybe some other random desert Pokemon). TR kicks the poacher's butt and Cacturne believes it should lead the group of Cacnea and it says it's goodbyes to TR and walks off into the sunset. Meanwhile, Masukippa is looking at it's watch and tapping it's....vine impatiently. o.o

I'm going to be seriously upset if they get rid of loveable, adorable, huggable Cacnea for that ugly-*** Masukippa. I really don't like that pokemon at all. Cacnea may not be as strong a fighter as Masukippa seems to be, but it is adorably cute. Let's hope Cacnea is staying around for a good long time, and keep that UA Masukippa in the ball some more.

Masukkipa does NOT seem stronger than Cacnea...AT ALL, that thing has been pwnd just like every TR Pokemon since the beggining of time.
It´s just bigger and fug... Cacnea is much better than Masukkipa in every aspect IMO...at least character-wise

Aw I loved Cacnea too. That thing was so cute how it always hugged onto James.

And I agree with what Wobbanut said. I don't really like Masukippa. I'd rather just have Cacnea stay with James.

I love Cacnea just as much as I love Wobbufuet. If Wobbufuet ever left, I'd be sad. I love that thing! xD Lets hope those two both stay for a long time.
