Cacophony?

Whats cacophony? Is this a new nature or something?

It was apparently an Ability intended to be used, but in the end, it was dumped. It was most likely the earlier name for Soundproof, because both do the same thing. But they didn't remove Cacophony from the coding. =/

The Soundproof Ability negates all moves that are based on sound. Although no Pokémon so far can naturally have the Cacophony Ability, it works just like Soundproof.

Just check your game and you'll find "Cacophony" in the coded words list. It's supposed to be an ability similar to Soundproof, but the idea was scrapped, supposedly because Cacophony would be in Pearl and Diamond instead. However, the Ability Cacophony can still be found in the games, despite the fact that no Pokémon has that ability at all.

If youve played Halo is like using the Flamethrower. It was scrapped b4 the game was released but was left in the game coding. hackers and modders can use it by doing some stuff not exactly sure.

good because it's not a nature... it's a pokemon innate ability like static/magnet pull/ intimidate/etc.

Its some old ability that was scraped do to its indenticalness to soundproff... IMO of corse.
