I would assume they mean cameos of other famous Nintendo characters in Nintendo games. I'll admit though, they weren't very clear on what they were talking about. I'm still confused on who this "onion" is. =/

Veiwtiful Joe has some. For example, If you Pull out a Shocking Pink (I think that's what it is... Y'know, the bomb.) and hold the kick button, He should whistle the first part of the SMB theme.

The other one on the top of my head is the last level, The one that's an entire Star Wars Parody. If you look closely in the first part, you should see ROB, the infamous robot for the NES. =P

Well, there's the Link Doll in Super Mario RPG. And in Paper Mario: TTYD they make refrence to both... mario games, and I think Zelda... and I'm pretty sure Fire Emblem... it's been, wow, almost a year since I've played it!

They show one of the bulb things from Pikmin at the secondhand shop.

Could you please clarify what you mean when you say that they make reference to Zelda games in PM?

There are quite a few Cameos in F-Zero GX, for example:-
-one of the characters is called James McCloud, from the star fox games.
-Plus you can see ROB the robot on one of the levels.
-and then in the Main story when you get entered into the race, Captain falcon goes under the name Famicom
-and the last one I can remember, there are choas fltibng the saucer which brings your cart back on course when you fall off.

Also, could people please start pointing out where the cameos are in the games they mention cause if I have the game I would like to see what they look like.
