Camerupt or Torkoal?

i am having troble chosing, my Numel just evolved into Camerupt and i like him, but i also like Torkoal, my Camerupt is level 44 and my Torkoal is level 37.

Both are great pokemon, but Camerupt is better overall. Its dual-type makes it very powerful with an ideal movepool.

I'd say camerupt, it's less cliche, or, whatever. And it has a good movepool.

Well, Camerupt's attack and sp.attack is higher than Torkoal, but Torkoal has higher defense and sp.defense. For me, I'd choose Camerupt, though Torkoal has no evolution...

I'd say Torkoal.Torkoal makes a good physical wall with that 140 base defense.Give it curse,overheat,explosion and a physical move.item:leftovers.nature:relaxed.then it should be really strong.Just run away when there is a water type.

Just like cecil has said, if you need a offensive Pokemon, use Camerupt, but if you need a defensive Pokemon, choose Torkoal. Personally I prefer Camerupt, because it's dual type and because of its Erruption.

And I'd pick Camerupt. Overall it's more useful than Torkoal because Torkoal will just die to Water anyway. Neither of them are that good, but Camerupt is a lot better than Torkoal usually.

Torcoal is is great tank. Camrupt is a better attecker. If this is ingame and not competive i would chose Camrupt. If this for a competive fight go with Torcoal.

Torcoal is a tank on legs with a flamethrower. Camprupt has weigh better attack and speed. Torcoal has better defense

In a battle, torkoal could still pull tough if it were trained well, so my favourtie is Torkoal.

In-game choice: Camerupt (it has better attack and sp.attack). However, if this is Emerald, Torkoal can do a better job at the BF than Camerupt.

it is, but i dont know how to make the poll like thing come up and yes, it is a General pokemon since you could get it on firered, leafgreen by trading, ruby, sappire,and Emerald by evolving. But if you think I should move it, I will, if you tell me how?

Really, I like Torkoal. Camerupt's great, but it's damned weak to Water.

Torkoal (Which when I first saw it, I thought evolved from Magcargo in some twisted sense of logic) is just cool. .. Bad pun. =/

Torkoal always had my support and I have one of them he wins me lots of battles, his stats are very good minus his speed, Ash has him and he is very cool so I supose He has my support on this little face-off.

Anyway, from past experiences, I would choose Camerupt (look at sig), mostly because he's a double type and has helped me out a lot. Though, I did choose Torkoal in Sapphire and I loved the thing so much it's now on Lv. 100.
