Can someone help me catch chansey

I really need help catching chansey, can anyone help?

Its all by chance if you read the pokedex entry. I wouldn't even throw rocks or bait.

Actually I tried using a pokeball first, then throwing bait, then a rock, and I almost caught it.

I spent about 2-3 hours every day for a month trying to catch a Chansey. When I finally caught it, it had a Lucky Egg! I just used Pokeballs most of the time.
You can catch one on XD, but other then that, it really is all up to chance.

NO IT RUNS AWAY DAMNIT,RUNS EVEN WITH BAIT!so ur best bet is to keep throwing safari balls NOT pokeballs

My experiences with the Safari Zone Chansey's are that 4 out of every 5 you see will run on the first turn.

So your best bet is to just throw Safari Balls on the first turn and hope you can catch it. If not you just got to wait for another 1. I got it to eat bait for a while but that made it harder to catch and it still broke out of every ball, and finally ran.

So yeah Chansey's are a pain..

Rocks worked for me after I gave it bait, but rocks worked as long as you use bait to keep it around.
But they keep running away! But why did they demolish Chansey's other location in the Cerulean Cave?

2. Have lots of Repels.
3. Goto Zone two where Chansey' are at.
4. Use the repels and go searching.
5. When it appears, Throw balls at it.

Probably will escape, might not. It's all chance.

OH, I see that u use my method to find it, but a little worse. I also have an oddish with sweet scent so I can not waste steps looking for it. When I find it, I throw a bait and hope it stays (which it does rather often for me), and then I throw a rock (it never runs, just gets angry). After throwing the first rock, it will flee no matter what, so I throw a safari ball.

It's all chance. 4/5 Chanseys run on the first turn. Why do you think they call it "Chansey"?

No. When you see a Chansey, just throw balls until it runs away or you catch it. If it runs away, find another one and repeat. Also, to save money, try rapidly turning directions instead of moving. You'll still be able to find wild pokemon and it won't waste steps.

I suggest throwing a rock, then throw Safari Ball.

with chansey do not use rocks and bait
only safari balls and when you are there use a zig zag pattern
to bring out more pokemon

What I did was:
Throw 1 Rock at it.
Then I threw 2 Bait at it.
I threw 3 Safari balls before I caught it.

It had lucky egg!!
