Can we talk about how CREEPY Pokemon Dex Entires can be?

Remember how Litwick is said to absorb life energy from people who think it's a candle? Continuing the theme of GF's apparent grudge against kids:

The flame on its head keeps its body slightly warm. This Pokémon takes lost children by the hand to guide them to the spirit world. (Sword)

The younger the life this Pokémon absorbs, the brighter and eerier the flame on its head burns. (Shield)

If you played B2/W2, you may remember Schoolkid Alberta, who used a Litwick in her battle at the Celestial Tower. After you defeat her, she goes to the Pokémon Center in Mistralton City, and when talked to, she says she's feeling a little worn out. This heavily implies that her Litwick is feeding off her life energy, hence why she's feeling a little tired.

Its evolutions aren't any less creepy:

Lampent:

It arrives near the moment of death and steals spirit from the body. (White)

The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on. (Black 2 and White 2)

This Pokémon appears just before someone passes away, so it's feared as an emissary of death. (Sword)

It lurks in cities, pretending to be a lamp. Once it finds someone whose death is near, it will trail quietly after them. (Shield)

Chandelure:

The spirits burned up in its ominous flame lose their way and wander this world forever. (Black 2 and White 2)

In homes illuminated by Chandelure instead of lights, funerals were a constant occurrence— or so it's said. (Shield)

Remember the Dex entries about Kadabra supposedly once being a human boy? It apparently came about from an in-universe novel called "The Transformation", loosely inspired by Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis, which won the 2nd Pokémon Literary Award. This came from the Official Pocket Monsters Encyclopedia, though whether or not it's canon in-universe is of course a bit of a source of contention. (It probably also inspired the Mystery Dungeon series, where the protagonist is a human who turned into a Pokémon.)

I mean that's just regular predation. It still happens in the Pokemon world, it's just not delved into too much because this is a kid's game

In the real life, they tend to go for the neck, though. Not that it makes it any less scarier.

Might as well pitch in with real stuff: the Galarian fossils have some creepy entries... Arctovish in particular ^^;

• Sword: Though it's able to capture prey by freezing its surroundings, it has trouble eating the prey afterward because its mouth is on top of its head.
• Shield: The skin on its face is impervious to attack, but breathing difficulties made this Pokémon go extinct anyway.

That's just a horrible fate for this Pokémon O_O Then again, which intern in its right mind, but first day thought that the head would go upside down I know that it's based on the mockery fossils found in England, but come on... They flip the head right side up and the Pokémon would be at least plausible XD
