Can you help me achieve my goal?

;373; Basically, My goal is to make a ALL Dragon team (an look-alikes(ex: Charizard)) effective, of course Ice Beam/Blizzard tend to get in my way, but I am currently EV training in Sp. Def and using the Gentle Nature and Sassy Nature as well...

For move sets I was thinking about Light Screen (breeded to Dragonite) and/or used on Latios/Latias, and perhaps Calm Mind(if it can be used...)

I'm going to list the team I currently have, and their respective move lists... I don't have them holding any items as of yet, since I am currently focusing on defending against Ice...

Salamence Lv 100
Gentle(new one is going to be: Gentle(this one's not EV trained...))
Move Set: Crunch
Fly
Flamethrower
Dragon Claw

Charizard Lv 100
Mild(new one is going to be: Gentle)
MS: Slash
Flamethrower
Earthquake
Dragon Claw

Flygon Lv 100
Quiet (a bit EV trained)
MS: Crunch
Giga Drain
Earthquake
Dragonbreath

Dragonite Lv 100
Modest
MS: Ice Beam
Brick Break
Thunderbolt
Surf

Latios Lv 100
Docile :(
MS: Luster Purge
Earthquake
Ice Beam
Shadow Ball

Kingdra Lv 80
Hasty(for some reason, it gained ALOT of stats, so I decided to keep this one)
MS: Ice Beam
Body Slam
Surf
Dragon Dance

Any Suggestion's on items to hold/move set's/anything? I was concidering "trying" to get HP Grass... any thought's on that as well (I chose HP Grass because flamethrower or w/e usually handle's "Ice" types.. But it's usually water types that beam me...) ;373;

Lonely Subpucnhing nite is poor, it needs to be brave and have bolt/beam, or go with the DD set that needs lonely

timid Kingrda is pointless when 198 Spd+Raind dance outspeeds nearly everything, just go with modest so you can 3HKO lax and other special sponges

Also, thanks for the help guys!!!

Kingdra @ Lefovers
- Rain dance
- Hydro pump
- Ice beam
- filler

HP is a 3HKO on lax/Regice under rain

what about surf instead? i'm merely stating that on the assumption it's better because it will hit everytime whereas HP won't (unless I'm missing something like rain increasing accurasy)..

also, thanks again, I really appreciate this help!

It may be in game, but i'm "trying" to make it competitive...

Battle Frontier = In-Game.

I also battle against a bunch of friends, who are extremely competitive... and I would like to defeat them with a all dragon team(look alike in charizards case..), just because I find it fun to play with a all dragon team, and would like it to be able to do pretty good and have a chance to defeat them.

Extrememly competitive friends eh? Would you mind giving me their Pokemon, movesets and EV spreads? That would be a great help in deciding wether you need a competitive team or not.

Yeah, since with linking up, most likely you won't have very good IVs, which cancels out the use of some Pokemon because they need a near perfect stat in one thing or another to carry out their job well, and when someone says their friends are very competitive (or w/e), the poster could just suck at Pokemon, it might not be their friends being very competitive in their battling.

I battle alot with my friends, and I win quite a bit of the matchups (we even have local tournies , there are that many people that are all friends that hang out and play pokemon...) , but that was with my old team, and I decided (like I did in yu-gi-oh!) that i'll make a pure team... so I picked a type I thought was cool (either dragons or steel), and went with it, so that's why i'm asking for help, so that i'll be able to have a pure(charizard included, since in my mind, it's a dragon...lol) dragon team that can win.

EDIT - Also, this has little to do with the topic at hand, but it's kinda cool that the name of the 2nd Dragonite I was going to train appeared in this thread (Dynamo ;) )

Most likely explanation: they suck.

If you REALLY want a mono-team, waters or flyers are the best choices IMO.
