Can you help me with my Pokémon please?

Hello members of serebii.net
Newly I registered in the Forum after some days of reading information in the page.

Thanks to you I have learned much of Pokémon's wonderful world and now I want to put it into practice.

I've play Pokémon for almost 7 years and nevertheless I have found a lot of interesting information that I did not know, and now I'd like that you help me with my Pokémon that I captured in my recently acquired Emerald Version.

My question is, how do you recommend me I should distribuite the EV's in them, they haven't won any point yet. I'd like to make them powerful with the EV's that best suits it's natures.

Thanks for helping me.

P.D. Sorry if I have any error, my mother language is Spanish and I'm making an effort for posting in the right way.

This set below is standard.

CM up first and take advantage of the boost. Thunder works because of Drizzle.

Thanks for all your posts, I now have the right idea of the moves I should use.

But I need to get an answer to my other question, the EV's of each Pokémon... could you give me the exact distribution for each STAT I should raise?

Thanks for your help.

P.D. Sorry if I have any type mistake, I think my post is understandable

Since this is ingame, the EVs shouldn't be very complicated since IVs are uncontrollable. Try these:

Groudon @ Leftovers
Trait: Drought
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Earthquake
- Overheat
- Rock Slide
- Swords Dance

Kyogre @ Leftovers
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
- Calm Mind
- Ice Beam
- Surf
- Thunder

Rayquaza @ Leftovers
Trait: Air Lock
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
- Aerial Ace
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

Thanks Zootster for your answer.

But there is a little problem... I'd like to use these Pokémon for a competitive team, and that is the reason why I wrote here their status and natures.

Besides, 252 + 252 + 4 = 508, not 510. For this reason I need someone could help me with this bearing in mind the stats and natures of my Pokémon.

I'll wait your help, thanks to everyone.

What I meant when I said that these pokemon were ingame was that you're making them ingame, not necissarilly that you're using them ingame. And all pokemon have numbers that play a part in their stats called IVs which can range from 0-31 and can't be changed.

Say you have a Pokemon that has an attack stat of 300 that has 31 IVs in attack but no EVs. A Pokemon of the same species and nature with an IV of 0 in attack would need around 124 EVs in attack to get an attack stat of 300, and 124 EVs is almost half of the max EVs for one stat. This is why EVs can't be too complex ingame ;)

Also, about your second point, the reason I only gave 508 EVs for each Pokemon was because for every 4 EVs in a certain stat, one point is added to that stat. So the extra two won't do anything. So you can just throw them wherever.

OK... now I have the idea:

KYOGRE: Max out SP. ATK and SPEED... should I give him a boost to it's SP. DEF due to the NAIVE nature?

GROUDON: Max out ATTACK and SPEED. I think LONELY nature isn't bad due to it's high DEFENSE base stat, but should I give something to this reduced status or not?

RAYQUAZA: Max out ATTACK and SPEED due to it's JOLLY nature. Only these stats need a boost?

OK... for now that's all, thanks for you help.

I hate to say it, but a good EV spread is more complicated than 252 252 6

I can help you with kyogre and rayquaza but not groudon. here are the sets I use competitivly.

Kyogre @ Leftovers ** Wally
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 44 HP / 252 Spd / 120 SAtk / 92 SDef
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ancientpower
- Ice Beam
- Thunder
- Water Spout

Ancient power is to defeat Shedinja and possibly gain a boost I've walled enough kyogres with shedinja to let that happen to me. I don't run max SA cause well, he doesn't really need it. MAx speed is to score a tie with groudon and hopefully outrun it. with 306 speed it is fast enough to smash things with Water Spout really hard... this kyogre is more of a blitz pokemon that just gets out and hits things hard with waterspout for a brief time. if you wanted to make it standard this EV spread would still probably work. just replace water spout with surf or pump, and AP with CM. Concerning the EV spread. I'm not sure what your IVs are, but you want to make sure that your hp is divisible by 16 for max leftovers recovery.

Rayquaza @ Leftovers ** Chinese Dragon
Trait: Air Lock
EVs: 68 HP / 252 Atk / 18 Def / 156 Spd / 16 SDef
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Flying]
- Rock Slide

arial Ace could be run over HP fly. or you could run the choice band version witch is also usefull. the EVs for the Bander are just allout attack and speed. (252 252 6) at anyrate. you want to set your speed up at 264 when you reach level 100 to give you 396 speed after a dragon dance... hey that convienently outruns everything not named Deoxies and ninjask and electrode! after one DD!!! well since you're jolly. I'd recomend the Choice band version.
max speed, Max attack. EQ, rock Slide, aerial ace, and extreme speed.
