This might sound crazy, but the first game i'll be getting for me Wii will be be a GC game (Pokemon Collosium, and then i'll be getting XD because I need Lugia and Ho-oh to finish my National dex) So can you still trade between XD/Collo and R/S/E/FR/LG if your XD or Collo game was in a Wii? (ofcoarse with a special cable)

Nintendo hasn't said anything officially although there is no reason why it shouldn't work, essentially the GBA acts like a controller. There are 4 GC controller ports on the back of the Wii so it definately has the hardware.

Get the GC-GBA cable, and it should work fine. I don't see why it wouldn't.

And for the people who have said Ninty hasn't released anything (no offense, but), that's just a load of bull. They said that it'll work with most Gamecube peripherals, save for things like the Gameboy player. I know you guys didn't know though. So, uh, grr.

It'll work. Plus, the GC-GBA cord is real cheap, now.

Edit: Because of there being the outlets for all the gamecube stuff. Yeah.
