Can you transfer items into d/p?

I wanted to know if I could attatch an item to my pokemon, before transfering, and get the item with the pokemon in pal park. Sorry if there is already a thread like this.

Yes you can attach items to your pokemon before you transfer them. But you have to do it on your gba games. I have the game and I have done it so I know it works.

Just so you know, I don't think you can trade over any of the older HMs that are not HMs in D/P (Flash, Dive).

Doesn't matter, you can't attach HMs to your Pokemon.

I'm pretty sure that the Pokemon isn't allowed to have them in its moveset either.

I think it's allowed to have them in your moveset but you can't use it outside battle anymore. Don't have the game so i'm not sure.

When transferring, you can't have any HM moves on the Pokemon, period. This means that Pokemon who learnt Dive via HM in the 3rd gen no longer can in this game.

That makes no sense. The Move still excists, just not a an HM.

I agree. Wouldn't the move still be their? Anyway, that's cool that the items will remain on the Pokemon.
